Right after King Olly raises Peach's castle up into the sky, you're shown a distressing image: Luigi's hat drifting down to the rubble below. Fear not, because that scene is actually a clue as to the first place you can find your brother. Once you have access to Toad Town, go through the Graffiti Underground to where Peach's castle once stood. Break through a crac𝓀ked wall in your path and continue on to a slope leadi😼ng up to a remaining wall with a wallpaper decorated with clouds. Break the pot here to uncover a magic circle, use it to pull down the wallpaper, and reveal your lost sibling! Despite the entire castle being taken away, he hasn't forgotten his quest and quickly sets off to find that key to the door.

The next chance you have to find Luigi is quite well hidden and out of the way. In Shogun Studios, there is a secret area in the Ninja Attraction. To find it, head into the courtyard and jump over the fence to the North and smack the statue near the pond to open the door to the nearby house. In the basement you'll find Luigi has gotten himself into another predicament. Thankౠfully, all it takes is a single hit with your hammer on the nearby gears t set him free. He'll reward you with the Shogun Studios Master Key, and then set off once again for the key he's been after.

As you should expect by this point, the next time🌠 you encounter your bumbling brother he has found himself in more hot water at Snif City. He's been taken prisoner inside o꧂f a magic lamp by a crafty Snifit who will only free him if you manage to guess his mood correctly in a mini-game. This time he gifts you the Suite Key for the Royal Hotel before heading back out on his quest.

Out on Mushroom Island in the Great Sea, Luigi has gotten himself locked behind a door requiring the Mushroom Handle to open. You can get this item on Crescent Island if you haven't already, and head through to find your brother relaxing after a successful quest...or so he thinks. It turns out the key he's holding is the Diamond Key, not the one he's been hunting down for so long. Rather than immediately rush off in search for the right key again, he will actually join your party 𝔍for a short time!

After finally reaching Peach's castle you'll soon realize one major problem: the door is still locked. After all this time, Luigi has his chance to shine and save the day! The only problem is he claims to still not have the key. As it turns out, though, he actually did without even realizing it. Head to the back of his kart andꦓ pull the key out of the exhaust to put the matter to bed once and for all.

Luigi's Last Appearance

We won't spoil the details of this since it comes a🔯t the very end of the game, but you can count on Luigi to give one final appearance during the game's ending cutscene. It's well worth discovering for yourself.

And that's every time the Mario Brothers are united in Paper Mario: The Origami King. Just like the previous games, Luigi is a constant source of entꦚertainment as he takes on an adventure only someone like h⛎im ever could.
