10 🌊 Best: Metamorph

One of Path of Exile's💟 most recent additions, Metamorph league took a step away from the ൩clear-speed oriented leagues of old and focused on boss fights instead.

Organs could be harvested from certain enemies in zones when slain, which could be combined to make a terrifying Metamorph boss. Each organ added new attacks and modifiers to the boss, but it also forced the Metamorph to drop certain items like Essences or Scarabs. While this league might be lacking layered meta-progression or game-changing Uniques, the core mechanic is just as fun as most of Path of Exile's best leagues.

9 ღ Worst: Bestiary ဣ

If you interact with Bestiary enemies or crafting today, you are likely confused why this is in the worst section. Quite simply, everything surrounding this league's inc♔redible additions to crafting were overshadowed by terrible gameplay systems.

Players could find extremely tough rare monsters with powerful modifiers. When that enemy gets low on health, players could throw a net on that monster to capture them, storing them in a new location called The Menagerie. From there, players could do blood rituals to craft modifiers or new items. It ha🍌d a surprising amount of depth, but over a dozen tiers of nets players had to manage and the frequency of accidentally killing Bestiary monsters left a sour taste in most fan's mouths. It wasn't until Bestiary was brought back with overhauled Master NPCs that this mechanic became muc❀h more enjoyable.

8 ౠ Best: Legacy ꦬ

The last league before patch 3.0 released for Path of Exile was Legacy league. Every league beforehand was rolled up into one mechanic, ac🌜ting as 𒉰a celebration of how far the game has evolved.

Leaguestones were the backbone of this league, forcing certain league mechanics to spawn in your next zone. Up to three cou🎃ld be used at a time, allowing for some truly insane mechanic combinations. Using Leaguestones was somewhat clunky and the length of this league was longer than most, but fans couldn't get enough of the pure carnage this league offered. The inclusion of pre-nerf legacy items players could find in Reliquary Treasure Chests was the icing on this amazing cake.

More , Onslaught was a simple hardcore league that made everything 20% faster. A few new Unique items were 🧜added, but no new game-changing mechanics were inℱcluded.

While this was one of Path of Exile's first challenge leagues, it is nevertheless lacking substantive content. Nothing meaningful changed by making everything faster and🧜 adding two new Unique items. Simply put, this was a boring league that could be easily skipped for the softcore Anarchy league running parallel with Onslaught.

6 🎃 Best: Harbinger 💞

Ephemeral entities occupied Wraeclast during the Harbinger leagꦬue. These new invulnerable enemies spawned waves of ghostly enemieܫs for you to slay, dropping fragments of currency on death.

Currency drops were la♏cking in this league since everything dropped in shards, causing unnecessary clutter in players' stash tabs. What made this league incredible was both its introduction of the excellent Breachhead map and new currency items. The new currency types allowed players to reroll maps to the same tier, one tier up, or reroll Uniques into another 💎item from the same base.

5 Worst: Torment ꦕ ൲

Torment league saw the ♔inclusion of ghosts that could possess enemies, granting them powerful modifie💟rs to make them much more challenging. Of course, slaying possessed enemies grants more loot.

It sounds solid in theory, but the Tormented Spirits were tooꦓ difficult to manipulate during the league's lifespan. The modifiers themselves were impactful, but they are lacking by today's standards. Loot drops were also lacking from both the new ghosts and possessed targets, leaving many to simply skip this league altogether.

4 💛 Best:𝓰 Breach

Every league introduced since Breach has tried to replicate its success. For many, Breach is the quintessential Path of Exile league that all future leagues should itera𓃲te upon.

Breach league is one of the simplest leagues Grinding Gear Games has made, but that simplicity doesn't lessen the sheer fun-factor of the mechanic. In essence, players open breaches to a demonic realm and must slay as many breach monsters as possible to keep the portal expanding. These monsters drop tons of currency and unique Splinters that can be combined to craft Breachstones, unique Maps that have the player fight a certain boss for 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:new Unique items. It had a g🙈reat mechanic, impactful Uniques, and demonstrated how beneficial metagame systems can be to the retention rate of a league.

3 Worst: Invasion 🙈

The great softcore Ambush league that ran alongside Invasion was this league's only saving grace.

Delve league introduced an infinite procedurally-generated dungeon that players could explore. The further you went, the more dangerous it became. With more danger comes more loot, and Delve sure showered players with valuable items. New crafting items were also included that added a degree of intentionality to crafting that no league has since matched. After a few balance changes post-launch, Delve is easily the best league Path of Exile has ever seen.

Fans criticized GGG's focus on releasing a unique league for both h♏ardcore and softcore players. The developers took this feedback and focused their resources on a much larger league for both groups of players called Talisman.

And it is the worst league Grinding Gear Games have ever designed. Enemies could possess talismans that granted them powerful properties. Slaying them would grant you a talisman, which is effecti𒉰vely a corrupt amulet with unique implicit modifiers. The issue was the most powerful talismans and new Uniques were tied behind tiers that took literal thousands of talismans to unlock, forcing players to make dedicated stash tabs to store them. Meta-progression was so terrible this league that most simply ignored the mechanic or stopped playing entirely. There wasn't a parallel league running to save players this time.
