Pathfinder: Kingmaker has the annoying habit of keeping the player on a schedule, so it's important 🔯to know how to check the time at any g🎃iven moment. That way, you can make sure that the kingdom isn't about to burn down due to the player's absence.
Pathfinder: Kingmaker is different from most fantasy RPGs, in that the player is expected to become a ruler at the end of the first chapter in the game. On the plus side, this gives the player a whole new level of gameplay to enjoy, as they get to build their fledgling empire in the Stolen Lands. The downside to this is that there are many timed quests that the player must complete, or risk the d🤡estruction of their kingdom, which means that players might not have as much time to explore as they would like.
If the player has a time-sensitive quest, then they can check its entry in the quest log to see exactly how much time they have left. If the player wants to🐈 find out the exact time at the moment, then they can do so on the main game screen. Next to the icon block on the bottom left of the screen and to the left of the character portraits, there i🐈s an hourglass embedded within a circle.
If the player needs to know the exact time at any moment, all they need to do is hover t🗹he m🀅ouse over the hourglass. A scroll will appear telling them the current time, day of the week, and exact date.
The timed nature of the quests in Pathfinder: Kingmaker are a nuisance, but it's possible to undo them with the help of mods. There are mods available for the PC version of Pathfinder: Kingmaker that allow the player to freeze the timers at any moment, giving them as much time as they wish to explore the Stolen Lands, earn experience points, and gather loot that they can use to expand their kingdom.
