The second edition of Pathfinder is finally receiving a ♒full release and the new ruleboo⛄k is available to purchase now in both physical and digital forms.

The Pathfinder Roleplaying Game started out as a modified version of the 3.5 edition of Dungeons & Dragons. Pathfinder managed to perform the seemingly impossible feat of outselling Dungeons & Dragons, as this was the period when the divisive fourth edition of Dungeons & Dragons had turned away many older fans. Dungeons & Dragons would reclaim its place in the market with the current fifth edition of the game, which combined many of the best elements of both the third and fourth editions of the game, but Pathfinder has still remained a popular alternative.

The second edition of the Pathfinder Core Rulebook is available to purchase now, along with a new version of the Pathfinder Bestiary and the first part of the Age of Ashes adventure path, which is called "Hellknight Hill." There is also a standalone adventure called "Pathfinder Adventure: The Fall of Plaguestone." The new Pathfinder books can be purchased from .

The new edition of Pathfinder is moving away from its 🍸3.5 origins and is going in a new direction based on the years of feedback about the original system. There is a much greater emphasis on player choice in character creation and in the selection of class abilities, which🌞 allows the player to create the kind of character they want to play and shape the rules around them, rather than being limited by the system.

Tabletop RPGs have found a whole new audience in recent years, thanks to video streaming services like Twitch and YouTube that have allowed professionals to share their games with the world. It used to be difficult to gather a group of like-minded people together to play Dungeons & Dragons or Vampire: The Masquerade, but the popularity of social media and the rise of hobby & gaming stores means that it's easier than ever to find people to sling dice with. Pathfinder is leaving its Dungeons & Dragons roots behind, but it will need to find a foothold in the digital realm if it wants to reclaim its plܫace at the top of the tabletop world.
