Owlcat Games today announced Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous will launch on September 2, with its second beta now available on Steam for Kickstarter supporters. The available content includes the first four chapters along with new Crusade gameplay, side que🍌sts, and more.
Pathfin𒆙der: Wrath of the Righteous can be added to your wishlist on either Steam or GOG. A console release is planned for the future, although Owlcat is yet to announce a release date.
The second round of🐬 beta testing will feature all content from the first beta, plus dozens of new additions. Here's a quick rundown of what you can expe🍰ct to see in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous' current beta:

"As its name sug🤪gests, players will be able to lead armies as a Crusade commander and fight against demonic armies through strategic army management and tactical turn-based combat (inspired by Heroes of Might and Magic III classics)," Owlcat announced. "New side quests will also be available to fans for the first time during this beta, in addition to a talking enchanted weapon that acts as a mini-companion. Finnean, a weapon/mini-companion whose development was funded after reaching a Kickstarter goal, will be available to players at the Ancientries and Wonders Shop."
Owlcat is a relatively new studio, having formed in 2016 to create Pathfinder: Kingmaker. The team is comprised of industry veterans with experience working on games such aꩵs Heroes of Might and Magic 5, Allods Online, and Skyforge. Kingmaker's success in 2018 led the team to continue working on the series, with 🎉Wrath of the Righteous being published by Paizo – the same publisher that supported Kingmaker.
