Developer will be at PAX East in just a few short weeks to show off their progress in Armed and Gelatinous, A fast-paced, top-d💙own game that pits blob against blob in deep spac🔥e, with plenty of guns for all.

Players choose one of four gelatinous blobs and face off in competitive warfare! Although the game was initially developed with local co-op in mind, Three Flip Studios has online multiplayer listed as a feature in the works for a future release. This may not require much more effort on the part of the developer following the addition of Steam’s Remote Play Together feature which allows friends to play remotely, though it would still be♈ useful to find new players to face off against.

Players have four game modes to choose from. The main event looks like a fast-paced bullet-hell with a twist. Players take control of their blob 💟and dash around the screen to avoid damage. However, as players collect more weapons, their blob bodies grow, making them more dangerous thanks to their increased firepower, but also become a larger target for their opponents to hit. This means that it may be tempting to grab every weapon that comes your way, but you’ll be easy pickings for a smart opponent.

An entirely different challenge for players awaits in Blob Soccer, Blob Bombardment♑, and Blob Blitz. There the focus shifts entirely in these new modes, and players can further customize the rules by changing requirements for points, time duration, combos, and more to be added in the future. As the game is still in development, there are several features planned for the future, including party mode, Steam trading cards and Cloud Saves, and an unspecified progression system.
