Payday 3 launched four days ago, but you'll be lucky if you've played a handful of heists thanks to all the server issues. Granted, the game has bots, so you can at least play by yourself, right? Unfortunately, no. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Payday 3 is always online, so if the servers are down, you're completely locked out of the game.
On September 21, Payday 3 launched and immediaꦇtely ran into authentication issues which stopped players from logging in. Then🌳 matchmaking became completely unavailable. The next day, fixes were deployed, but they were short-lived as the servers quickly ran into new problems.
All platforms couldn't matchmake at all, leaving most unable to get into the game regardless of whether they wanted to heist with bots or other players. Only two hours ago, the official social channels announced that people can finally get back into Payday 3. However, people are still reporting probl🔥ems, which seems to stem from Payday 3 being a much bigger hit than Starbreeze anticipated.
According to an official statement, "Matchmaking software encountered an unforeseen error, which made it unable to handle the massive influx of players. This caused an unrecoverable situation for Starbreeze's third-party matchmaking partner."
Starbreeze implemented a new server software across all regions, but an update made by the partner on Sunday "introduced instability" once again. Players are encouraged to keep sharing issues as Starbreeze tries to make matchmak🌞ing stable, but all of these major downtimes have only added fuel to the fire that is the always-online backlash.
There is a lot of frustration in the community right now. While some are playing on Game Pass, Payday 3 is the number one top-selling game on Steam. That means plenty have paid to play. However, due to the game being always online, they can't. Some are refunding, but most are waiting out the storm and voicing their anger on forums.
The growing unrest was acknowledged di⛎rectly by the official Payday 3 social channels on launch day, "We realise that t🅷he matchmaking issues are frustrating, they are for us as well." However, the replies were full of players asking for an offline option so they could at least try the heists solo.
Already, Payday 3's score has dropped to "Mostly Negative" due to all of the outages. There are over 20,000 reviews logged at the time of writing, many of which are demanding Starbreeze rollback the decision to make it always online.
Following similar outcry before the game had even launched, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Starbreeze removed Denuvo, but it's unclear if we'll see anything similar happen amidst the always-online backlash.
