The climbing game has different difficulty ෴levels, each with its own modifiers that will make your adventure a lot harder.
In turn, this allows for a lot of replayability as you use different strategies while climbing. However, knowing what the modifiers are beforehand will save you from tons of heartache and help you plan each climb. Th🀅is guide will walk you through each of Peak's difficulty level sashes, plus how to unlock them.
All Difficulty Level Sashes, Explained
In total, there are nine levels that you can play on in Peak. As you go higher in the levels, they get much harder with buffs that will go against you.
When you start the gameﷺ for the first time, you'll only have two difficulty levels to pick fromไ:
- Tenderfoot: This is the easiest level of Peak. There's no time limit, your stamina goes down slower, and hunger doesn't affect you as much. Playing on this difficulty will help you understand the mechanics better as well.
- Peak: Considered the normal (or default) difficulty of the game. This level has everything balanced, meaning your stamina and hunger will be impacted at a normal rate.
After getting past these levels, you'll be able to play several more levels called Ascent. However, to unlock each of these difficulties, you'll need to fulfill some requirements.
To get access to the Ascent difficulty levels in the game, make sure you💙've completed the Peak level. Tenderfoot won't open up the harder🗹 difficulties.
How To Unlock Each Ascent Difficulty
Upon completing the default difficulty in Peak, you'll be able to attempt the first Ascent, which you can do by going to the departure booth in the main lobby.
But to unlock the other Ascents, you must complete the previous one first. For example, by beating Ascent 1, the second Ascent opens up, and so on till you reach Ascent 7.
All Ascents will have the previous stages' modifiers in play, plus their own. With the above example, i🐈f you're playing Ascent 2, you'll need to deal with the secon♊d Ascent's buff, plus the first one's.
- Ascent 1: For this level, you'll see an increase in the fall damage. You'll need to be smarter with your steps since Ascent 1 will punish you for even the slightest misstep.
- Ascent 2: Now, as you climb, your hunger grows faster. In turn, this causes you to have less stamina. So, your food consumption will be crucial on this difficulty level.
- Ascent 3: Everything now is much heavier. This, like hunger, will also reduce how much stamina you can have.
- Ascent 4: Unlike other levels, where the flares you need to escape are at the top of the last biome, you'll need to find them either on the shore or somewhere in the world. Otherwise, you won't be able to complete this Ascent.
- Ascent 5: You'll now get colder at night during this Ascent. Stamina goes down at record speed, so charting out your path before moving might help you survive the night.
- Ascent 6: This level's buff is all about stamina. At this point, it gets depleted almost instantly. To negate and to use less energy, use tools like the rope to get around better.
- Ascent 7: In the last difficulty, you won't be able to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:get revived from being dead, because now there is Permadeath. However, you'll be able to spectate the game if you're playing multiplayer.
It's worth mentioning that in Ascent 7, you can still revive other downed players. Permadeath only triggers when you die.
