Quick Links
Though it’s not known for being one of the more difficult guardians you encounter as you play through , there’s still a bit of tact and pre-planning you’ll need to get through the fight with Phantom King. Since P3P’s Phantom King guardian doesn’t have traditional affinities, you’ll need to be smart about all aspects o💟f this fight.
But with the right team combination and resistances in your stock of Personas, the battle against Phantom King should ൩be a breeze. For help taking down the Phantom King guardian in Persona 3 Portable, the guide below has everything you’ll need.
This guide contains slight spoilerꦯs for Persona 🌞3 Portable.
Phantom King Battle Setup
You'll encounter the Phantom King battle on 190F of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the Harabah block of Tartarus.
Recommended Party
For this battle, we suggest bringing Ken, Junpei, and Yukari.
With two light insta-kill moves, there's plenty of threat from the Phantom King. However, Ken is immune to light magic, protecting at least one of your party members.
We still recommend bringing a few Homunculi if you can, though, for party members who don't have this immunity.
Since Phantom King takes slightly higher damage from slash attacks, Junpei will likely be your primary striker here.
Not only is his default attack a slash attack, but he also learns High Counter at Lv. 58 to keep him safer from physical harm, but he can also learn Brave Blade (which deals severe slash damage) at Lv. 65.
Finally, Yukari will again take the role of healer for this fight.
Recommended Level And Personas
Since Phantom King is Lv. 57, we recommend being around Lv. 60 during this fight.
As for which Personas you should bring, focus on Personas that resist light magic. Like before, the battle is over if your MC dies, so you'll need to focus on keeping them protected with this resistance.
Daisoujou or Throne are both good choices for this exact resistance. Pair that with your MC doing slash damage with their standard attack, and you'll be safe in the fight ahead.

Phantom King Battle Strategy
Most of the strategy for the battle against the Phantom King comes from your defensive decisions.
Phantom King focuses a lot on light skills, but having both Ken and a Persona on your MC that blocks light removes two ꧅of itꦉs targets.
However, you may also be at the point in the game where your teammates might survive an otherwise-fatal attack with𝔉 one HP. This will also co💟me in handy but seems to happen far less with insta-kill attacks.
Ken and Yukari are both healers in this fight, with offense left to Junpei and your MC. WIth its additional damage from slash 𓄧attacks, Phantom King should go down before you 🌟know it.
