You’ve watched as they watched you in , ꦑserving as a constant thorn in the SEES Team’s sides, but now, you’re finally able to take on Takaya Sakai and Jin Shirato of Strega. They’ll interrupt you on your final Full Moon Operation to try to take you on themselves, hell-bent on stopping you from stopping the Dark Hour.
While the fight isn&r▨squo;t too hard, there ꦅare definitely some tips you should know before you take them on. For some pointers on how best to handle the fight with Takaya and Jin on the Moonlight Bridge, follow along below!
Although we're focused on the combat behind the battle, this guide may contain slight spoilers for Persona 3 Portable.
Takaya And Jin Battle Setup
You'll bump into these two Strega members on your way to battle Arcana Hanged Man for your final Full Moon Operation. They'll interrupt you on the way and demand a battle before you go.
This guide is for the joint battle with Takaya and Jin on 11/3. We'll have separate guides for when you battle the two individually at the end of the game.
Recommended Party
For this battle, we recommend bringing Junpei, Koromaru, and Akihiko.
With Jin throwing his grenades to deal fire damage instead of physical damage, Junpei and Koromaru’s fire resistances will be of great help here. This provides them coverage from one of Takaya’s four primary e🎀lement𒆙al moves as well.
Junpei will learn Blade of Fury to deal medium slash damage to all foes at Lv. 50, which may be of great use in this battle, as neither Takaya or Jꦚin have physical resistances.
If you focus Koromaru’s fire magic at Takaya (since Jin repels fire), you may be able to use Koromaru’s fire boost passive skill that he learns at Lv. 48 to increase damage done by fire magic by 25 percent.
Between that, Counterstrike offering a 30 percent chance to repel physical attacks, and Marakukaja to increase your defense, Junpei is all but a given for the fight.
We recommend Akihiko to round out the party in this battle for a few reasons. His primary uses here should be debuffing the enemies and exploiting his strength to beat on Takaya and Jin.
If he’s reached Lv. 50, he’ll have learned the passive skill, Fist Master, which doubles damage dealt by Akihiko’s physical attacks.
Recommended Level And Personas
With both Takaya and Jin being Lv. 53 when you fight them, you’ll want to be around Lv. 50 to stand your ground against them.
Without any weaknesses that you and the team can exploit, you’ll be left to whittle down Jin and Takaya with your normal spread of moves.
But with that covered pretty well by your teammates, you may want to play your MC as the healer for this battle. The offensive parts are more than covered by the team, and with few options on your teammate🦹s for healing spel🦩ls, it may fall to you to keep everyone alive.
Any healers you have with limited elemental weaknesses will be good ℱchoices here, with multi-target healing spells typically ⛦taking priority over single-target ones.
For offensive Personas, Surt is a great choice, since it knows Deathbound innately. Deathbound deals heavy slash damage to all foes, meaning you'll hit both Takaya and Jin in a meaningful way.
The only hiccup with this plan is that Surt is the ultimate Persona of the Magician arcana.
You'll need to have maxed your social link with either 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Kenji or Junpei, depending on which protagonist you've chosen, before you can fuse it.

Takaya And Jin Battle Strategy
When the battle first begins, we’d recommend you take out Jin before Takaya.
While Takaya is clearly the ringleader here, Jin can cause some real problems for your team with his dark magic insta-kill moves. Especially if he uses the mult🐲i-target version, it’s entirely possible you’ll lose a teammate or two.
Bringing a few Homunculi can help counteract this.
The other irritation with Jin is that he’ll regularly use Tarukaja to boost Takaya’s attack. And with Takaya already having the -dyne versions of every elemental spell, you definitely don’t want him stronger than he alread♑y is.
Both of your foes have 1,500HP you’ll need to deplete before they fall. If you’re not able to exploit multi-target moves (that aren't Agi, to avoid Jin's affinity for it), then focus on Jin before focusing on Takaya.
Once one goes down, it’s a fairly straightforward fight. They’re strong, but they fight pretty clean, so♏ there aren’t many surprises to the batt🌜le.
Simply grind down their HP before you listen to them refuse to surrender to you, losers even in defeat, and then head onto the night’s real attraction: your final Full Moon Operation.
