How To Unlock The Magician Social Link

You'll first need to be introduced to Kenji Tomochika at school in order to unlock the Magician Arcana Social Link.

On April 21, you'll meet him at the school gates in the early morning. He'll call out to you and introduce himself as your classmate in 2-F.

On April 22, Kenji will meet you at the school gate again in the early morning. That same day, he'll walk up to you after school to invite you out to eat some ramen.

You'll then have no options on how to spend your afternoon, and you'll accompany Kenji to have some ramen.

You don't have to worry about what responses to pick for your initial interactions with him, because you'll unlock the Magician Social Link either way.

From then on, you'll be able to grow your Social Link rank with Kenji after school, when he's seated in the classroom, or on holidays, when he sends you a message on your phone to invite you out for the day.

Take note that hanging out with Kenji will take the activity slot for the time period of your meet-up. If you meet him on a school day, it'll take up the "After School" time slot. If you meet him on a holiday, it'll take up the "Daytime" time slot.

These holiday meet-ups with Kenji are not a requirement to reach the maximum rank for his Social Link.

Magician Social Link Rank 10 Reward

The highest rank you can attain for your Social Link with Kenji is rank 10. When you reach that rank, Kenji will show you his appreciation for being his friend by giving you a handmade choker.

This handmade choker allows you to fuse Futsunushi, the warrior god.

Should You Max Out Your Magician Social Link?

Unlike other Social Links, working on your Magician Social Link won't open Social Links to other people.

That being said, it's easy to rank this Social Link up because you can frequently meet up with Kenji, and there's no rush in maxing it out right away. Also, this is one of the first Social Links you'll be able to unlock.

Of course, you can benefit from forming this Social Link as you fuse Personas of the Magician Arcana. The ability to fuse special Personas, such as the Futsunushi that you receive from a rank 10 Social Link with Kenji, will make you🐠r party a lot more powerful when it comes to fighting Shadows.
