Akihiko join🐠s the team at Lv. 18 with Mazio already unlocked, and he may be the first of your teammates to be able to access their mജulti-target elemental attack.

However, after Fuuka joins SEES and becomes your navigator following the Emperor and Empress battle on 6/9, Mitsuru becomes an active party member now that she's relieved of her navigation duty.

Pentheselia, Mitsuru's Persona, was capable of navigating in Tartarus, but her real focus is on offensive Ice magic and helping the team out with a bevy of status ailment-inflicting moves.

Similar in strength to Akihiko when he first joined up, Mitsuru enters the party🥃 at Lv. 20 and almost i♕mmediately learns Bufula at Lv. 21 to offer what may be your first medium-damage elemental move.

Here's how to sta𓂃y alive and kick some serious butt amidst the towering depth of Tartarus in⛎ Persona 3 Reload.

Gatekeeper Battles In Arqa

Makoto Yuki targeting Will O' Wisp Raven in Tartarus in Persona 3 Reload

In the second block of Tartarus, you'll still face a number of Gatekeeper Shadows again, but this time, prepare to fight three mini-boss battles in a row.

You'll know this is coming when you arrive on 34F and Mitsuru mentions an odd reading up ahead. If you need to, activate the teleporter on 34F and use it to hea☂d🌸 back to the entrance to heal up or leave.

On 34F, 35F, and 36F, you'll need to make it through three individual fights, one on each floor. The Gatekeeper Shadow will enter the fight with support Shadows to throw a wrench into your fighting plans. Activate the teleporter on 36F, but you're not done with the Gatekeepers just yet - there's a fourth Gatekeeper on 42F just before the blockade.

Persona 3 Reload Persona users facing a Servant Tower and two Enslaved Cupids

After the blockade on 43F has been cleared following the June Full Moon operation, you'll have another slew of Gatekeepers to handle in the second half of Arqa, though these ones are decently split up between the floors, unlike the cluster you faced🌞 in the first half.

Another is waiting for you first on 47F not far from when you enter the second half of the block, so come prepared for a mini-boss fight almost immediately when you continue on through the block. You'll have a few floors of training time before facing yet another Gatekeeper on 47F, and then a similar stretch before the next one on 54F.

Finally, your last Gatekeeper in the Arqa block of Tartarus is on 60F, providing you with several floors afterward to train and loot for some of th🍬e best items in Arqa before moving into a new block after the July Full Moon.

In the Arqa block of Tartarus, you'll face:

Be sure to activate the teleporters before your battles on these floors, lest anything happen during the battle and you need to access that floor ag💃ain.

Depending on your difficulty settings⭕, you may have the option to retry the battles, but it's better to be safe than sorry.
