A reliable dataminer has corroborated recent rumours that suggest that the leaked Remake is going to be announced "soon" and that P5T isn't a fighting game or a game starring Goro Akechi.
Rumours of a Persona 3 remake have been swirling around for years now, but they reached a fever pitch earlier this year when a video leaked out that showed a short clip of the remake i👍n action, alongside unseen beta footage for Sonic Frontiers and a brief clip of a rebooted Jet Set Radio. Since then, evidence for a remake has continued to pile up, suggesting that a re♍veal for the project is imminent.
How imminent you ask? Well, according to reliable Persona dataminer Pan-hime, . Over on Twitter, Pan-hime responded to some Persona rumours that have been cropping up over the past few weeks, noting that she's heard that an announcement for Persona 3's remake is happening soon, and clarifying what she knows about P5T.
, Pan-hime said, "look, all I know is p3 remake will be announced soon and p5t isn't a fighting game and not an akechi game. will they be announced together? dunno lol.the atlus initiative for releasing games on all platforms is real".
Pan-hime's comments seem to suggest that, not only is the Persona 3 remake real, but that we'll be hearing more about it at some point this year. In fact, it seems very likely that we'll be getting some kind of announcement at Xbox's Summer Showcase next week, as Atlus and Microsoft have been getting closer in recent years and it'd make sense for a reveal to happen there. This would also🍒 l♐ine up with what insider Im A Hero Too said last month.
Those worried that an announcement at the Xbox Summer Showcase might mean exclusivity seemingly don't need to stress, as Pan-hime's tweets about "the Atlus initiative for releasing games on all platforms is real" seems to hint that it'll be coming to all platforms. Whether that also includes the Nintendo Switch is anyone's guess considering we don't know how the remake looks, but it does seem to suggest a full multiplatform release.
As for P5T, Pan-hime says that it's not a Persona 5 fighting game like some previously thought and that it's also not a game starring Goro Akechi. With those options eliminated, it's really not clear what the project is right now, but considering the dom🃏ain update that hapꦉpened the other day, we're likely not too far from finding out.
