The division between slash, strike, and pierce attacks adds significantly more depth to your basic attacks and keep you on your toes so that you can’t just rush through Tartarus.

Discovering the extent that you can customize your party and build your protagonist is an absorbing adventure, and is what makes Persona 3 such an engaging RPG besides its story.
5 Persona 5: Better Menu🐟s 🅺
Older Persona games have a very recognizable combat and dialogue menu, but it’s undoubtedly small and cluttered when you compare to the vibrant and organic menus of Persona 5. What once were b🐠land textboxes now have visual effects and splash🐽y images, and animations when selecting them in combat.
This stylized menu system is significantly more fun to navigate and blends the menus in with the battle animations beautifully. Persona games, among many other JRPGs, are sometimes compared to visual novels, but Persona 5’s men♚us and presentation help prove that stereotype completely wrong.
4 ꧟ ♐ Persona 3: Female Protagonist
One of the biggest advantages to Persona 3 compared to nearly any Atlus RPG is the alternate option for a female main character, introduced in the PSP version of the game. The story itself is the same and your gender doesn’t matter in the story, so being able to play how you want to play is a wonderful addition that other Persona games would do well to have.

2 Persona 3: Deeper ꦓWorld
The story of Persona 3 is spread out through all the game’s cast🐟. While they each have their own personal stories that don't always affect the main plot, they all still branch off and relate to the game's overarching story, and it's only after these stories come together that the main characters able to save the world.
There’s also significantly more of a fantasy that’s explored with the Midnight Hour and Tart♈arus. Charac💜ters like Ikutsuki and Aigis have tons of stories to tell about the history of the supernatural threats you face, and learning the deeper lore is just as engaging and important as its present story.

Where Persona 5 rℱeigns is in its focused story, which centers entirely on the debut and missions of . Rather ไthan a focus on the world and the explanations of their magic, this game focuses far more on its villains you face and how your team comes together to save their city.
There's certainly additional lore if you need it, but this game has an extremely clear narrative that it sticks to the entire way. Every character interaction is focused on pushing you and the main story forward as you work your way to facing Shido, meet new friends, and pursue your team’s traitor. By the end, you get to experience a much more focused and direct story than you'd get in Persona 3.
