Persona 4 Golden recently received a brand new patch that adds a variety of different updates and fixes to the game, including a wide range𒁃 of quality of life changes. Here's a comprehensive breakdown of everything new.
The official Persona 4 Golden ver🦹sion 1.1 patch notes were published on the game's earlier today. All of the documented changes were implemented as a result of reports from players, and were tested in the game's beta release pಞrior to being added to the main branch. These patch notes are for the fixes that made it through the beta and have been deemed acceptable for the full game, which mainly pertain to moment-to-moment gameplay and overall stability.
Some of the changes incluꦿded in patch version 1.1 aren't exactly major, so we're just going to run through the most significant ones. While fixes to video quizzes and optimization of cutscene visuals are definitely worthwhile endeavors, they don't necessarily h🌜ave an overly prominent impact on how the game plays on a moment-to-moment basis.
That being said, Atlus did rectify several is💫sues with soft locks, which were making the game unplayable for some people. These soft locks could potentially occur around Personamations or after an All-Out-Attack, meaning that although they were relatively rare, the opportunity to suffer from one arose on ♐a pretty regular basis.
The patch also pre🅘vents the game from crashing after removing an Xbox One controller from your PC, on top of solving the more prevalent issue oℱf crashes occurring due to blank items appearing in your inventory. This section of the patch notes also mentions that if you've still got a blank item equipped as clothing, you'll need to remove it in order to ensure it doesn't continue to tamper with your saved game data.
The most important fixes have to do with aspects of the game that were preventing people from progressing - for example, some players reported being unable to proceed past Yukiko's castle, while others n🌼oted that they were unable to complete Quest 3.
Aside from that, the rest of the p𓆏atch notes are relatively irrelevant and primarily have to do with minor, mostly unnoticeable bug fixes. The main purpose of this pass was to ensure you can actually play through the🥀 game without losing saved data or being unable to progress.
