168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Persona 5 weaves a lot of emotional points into its story, and play🍸ers will experience a 🌜lot of ups and downs no matter what choices they make. The way it makes you feel for each character and doesn’t shy away from darker plotlines contributes to its lasting appeal as a story-driven RPG.
As 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:enjoyable and funny as Persona 5 can be, it also has its fair share of really tragic moments. There are so many times where this game makes you put down the controller and just clutch your chest for a second. It’s tastefully done, but still wrecks your feelings all the s꧟ame. Beware of spoilers ahead if you haven’t finished vanilla or Royal.
10 ꦜ Joker Gets Falsely Accused of Assault
It’s the catalyst that brings our protagonist to Tokyo, but that doesn’t make it any less horrible. In an attempt to save a woman from getting assaulted, he gets hurt and arrested because the aggressor just so happened to be a corrupt and powerful politician (who ends up causing more proble🦋ms throughout the game).
Because of this, Joker’s record is st꧅ained, and he has to serve a year’s probation with no way to clear his name. It establishes the message of i꧙njustice that Persona 5 is trying to convey right away, and sadly mirrors the reality that so many people face when facing those in power.
9 Futaba Says Goodbye To Her Mom&r🎶squo;s Memory
Futaba’s whole story before becoming a part of the Phantom Thieves is alre﷽ady sad. Her whole life, she has suffered from social anxiety and depression due to the trauma of her mother dying. She blames herself for the death of her mother, and even has massive troubles with her foster family before Sojiro steps in to raise her.
As she faces a cognitive version of her mother in her Palace, Futa🌸ba is able to see the reality that it isn’t her fault. Even though it provides some closure and lets her know that her mom really did love her, it’s absolutely heartrending to know that this is as much of a goodbye that she can get because of outside forces that still exist.
8 ཧ Everyone Thinks Ryuji Died 🔥
When escaping Shido’s Ship Palace, the gang is, once again, pressed for time. ꦅNaturally,🐬 star athlete (despite his injury) Ryuji decides to take it upon himself to get to the edge and nab the escape boat himself.
He succeeds in doing so, everyone celebrates, and then the worst thing possible happens. Shido’s ship explodes while Ryuji is still hanging on. It’s one of the worst slaps in the face (and heart) thinꦬkin✃g a fan favorite has just perished, especially at a point in the game where everyone has become so close.
We later find out that Ry༒uji inexplicably survived the explosion, but it doesn’t make the initial moment any less horrific.
7 ♔ 😼 Yusuke Discovers His Mentor’s Betrayal
Madarame is not just a mentor to Yusuke, but a father figure. Madarame took him in when he was young. In Yusuke’s mind, this is the༒ man that saved him, raised him to have a passion for art, and inspired him using the Sayori painting.
Little did he know that Madarame actually stole this painting from his mother, and only used him for profit. To make things worse, it is revealed that his mother may have survived her seizure if Madarame had not left her for dead. It’s bad enough that he grew up suffering from abuse, but it’s absolutely tragic witnessing Yusuke face this 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:ultimate betrayal from someone he thought actually cared for him.
6 🐠 Igor’s🀅 Fate
Persona players know Igor very well, as he has been a mainstay of the Velvet Room for eons. Throughout the fifth game, he is starkly different in personality and voice. It’s a huge contrast f𝄹rom his previous appearances, but we are pretty much led to believe this is just the natural progression of his character.
At the final dungeon of the game, players find out that the Igor they have been interacting with this whole time is actually💙 Yaldabaoth, who is actually responsible for the havoc that Mementos has been causing. It’s a terrible moment, especially once you realize that the real Igor has been trapped the entire time.
5 ꦓ Okumura Dies Before Revealing It All ♊
Okumura is one of thos💛e characters that is inherently tragic, as they genuinely believe that they are not the villain. The worst part of it is that he is one of the most powerful men in Tokyo with a real ▨ability to enact positive change.
Throughout his life, he uses his daughter as a pawn, and lets poor work conditions fly under his rule for the sole purpose of power. It’s unfortunate, because he actually cares about his daughter deep down. Just as he is finally about to reveal the big bad behind mental shutdowns, and complete his 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:redemption arc, he suffers a mental shutdown hꦍimself and exp෴ires.
4 Goro Ak🌳echi’s Sacrifice 💙
Goro Akechi is a character you have a love-hate relationship with. Despite his ultimately antagonistic role, he ends up helping the Phantom Thieves significantly. When he realizes th🐬at the right path is to assist the cause of Joker and the gang, he sacrifices himself in order to protect them.
It’s a devastating moment to see Akechi make the choice of giving his own life, when he finalꦍly realizes how misguided he has been. At this point, it’s where the protagonist gets to max out his rank and solidify the bond at the very last moment. From there, everyone loses Akechi from their cognition, and we’re left grieving for a person no one even knows exis🐻ted.
3 Morgana Says Goodbye 🍬Along With Mementos
Morgana may be often misguided and annoying, but he’s the adorable cat that has stuck by your side since the beginning. No matter how often he messes up and makes questionable choices, you can’t help but ⛎feel attached to him.
As Mementos fina♎lly disappears, Morgana also starts to fade away with it. He welcomes the new world and gives his goodbyes to the team. It’s hard not to get teary-eyed as that little cat starts fading into the sky (even if we do get him back later on).
2 The Phantom Thieves Dඣisappear
At the climax of your battle against Mementos, the worlds collide and everyone basically 🌃stops believing in the Phantom Thieves. It’s kind of like when people in Peter Pan say they don’t believe in fairies.
Because of the public cognition being manipulated by Yaldabaoth, the Thieves are forgotten and every member starts to di🧜sappear. They are not at all prepared to die, and it’s horrifying to see. This is the type of tra🐟umatic moment we all know too well from the whole Thanos snap that Marvel put us all through in theaters.
1 Shiho Aꦰttempts To Harm Herself
Tri༺gger warning for readers, as this deals with heavy issues that are all too relevant in the real world. This moment is arguably the most tragic moment in the ꦇgame.
Shiho is a victim of constant sexual harassment and physical abuse at the hands of her teacher. As if t๊hat wasn&💃rsquo;t bad enough, it escalates, and it’s implied that she suffers an assault. Not only does this slowly diminish her self-esteem and mental health, but it ultimately drives her to try jumping off the roof of their school.
Self-harm is terrible on its own, but the circumstances that led to it make this moment even more impactful and angering. It’s what drives the Phantom Thieves to take down Kamoshida, and really brings to light how often young women are subjected to tragic i𓄧njustices they aren’t given a chance to voice.
