One of the neatest – and perhaps most unexplainable – additions to Persona 5 Royal was the mysterious boy in Mementos and The Thieves Den, Jose. While the character himself does crop up several times, his main purpose is to exchange flowers and stamps for changes to the public&🌞rsquo;s cognition that alter 🌌Mementos.

But with Jose occasionally difficult to find, given that he randomly s⛎pawns on any given floor in Mementos, learꦗning to use his skills effectively can be a bit of a challenge. To learn how best to use Jose’s sweet new abilities, follow along with our guide to Persona 5 Royal’s stamps and flowers below.

Updated on December 20, 2022, by Gabrielle Castania: Jose’s abilities are helpful to your Persona 5 Royal adventure, so we wanted to go back and update our guide for easier readability to help you get the most out of your time with P5R.

Finding Jose In Mementos

persona 5 royal the phantom thieves meeting jose in mementos

You’re introduced to Jose on 5/7 when the game automatically brings you into Mementos after school on this day. He explains to the Thieves that he’s studying the human condition, which he does by juicing th🗹e flowers🏅 littered around Mementos.

After you agree to help, he explains a bit more: he’ll exchange flowers for battle items, while he trades stamps for changes to the cognition of Mementos. While it may be tempting to write him off, not only do you find both of these things by default as you go throug𓆉h Mementos throughout the game, but Jose’s rewards pack a serious punch.

After you’ve been introduced, flowers and stamps begin to spawn around Mementos. Each Path will have a different total number of each for you to collect and give back to Jo꧙se in exchange for th𝐆ese rewards.

However, although he does appear in The Thieves Den, too, trading these items with Jose can only be done in Mementos. You’ll know he’s around because there’s a cutscene of Jose driving his car that plays when you arrive at a new floor.

If you don’t see the cutscene, you’ll need to check someplace else – Jose will routinely spawn in Mementos, but his appearance seems to be random. If Jose is present on the floor, simply drive around until you locate him. From ther✱e, Joker can interact and make the trades.

Jose is also the one to upgrade your Will Seed Crystals into wearable Rings for th🍎e Phantom Thieves to wear, which increase their battle capabilities.

Not only can Jose upgrade the Crystals formed by the Seeds, but he can also sell you an extra Will Seed if you missed one. However, each Will Seed from Jose costs a whopping 400 flowers each, so do your best to grab them for free fr𝐆om🦋 the Palaces!

Persona 5 Royal's Flowers

persona 5 royal jose asking joker for more flowers

After agreeing to help Jose with his flower mission, the flowers he’s asking for will begin to appear around Mementos. They look like floating bubbles of flowers that you can find as you’re driving the Cat Bus around Mementos. To collect them, drive directly into the bubble.

The number of flowers given from each🎶 bubble changes, depending on which Path you’re currently exploring.

Once you’ve begun collecting the flowers, Jose will offer to trade them for items any time you see him around Mementos. If you’re ready for a trade, simply෴ find and speak with hiꦉm in Mementos.

Flowers disappear when you leave Mementos. You can collect as many as you’d like each time you explore, but if you leave and come back without spending them first, your counter resets to zero the next time you enter Mementos.

Because of this, be sure to trade your flowers with Jose whenever you’re able, to minimize how many you lose.

Below is a table of all the items Jose has for sale in his shop, along with each item’s cost, description, and availability. Unless specified, you can buy as many as you can afford, but certain items can be purchased only a set number of times each day. Jose will restock the following day for another chance to buy.

Persona 5 Royal’s Stamps

persona 5 royal jose changing the cognition of mementos

But Jose isn’t only looking for flowers, though, nor can he only provide you with items – there are also several stamps to find around Mementos.

This is t𝔍he main way that P5R has improved Mementos: by turning in collected stamps to Jose, you’re able to change the cognition of Mementos itself to affe♊ct how much money, experience, or items you receive.

You can find a stamp at the end of the platform of every floor, as well as spawning randomly behi🧸nd doors or breakable walls. As there are more stamps to find in a single area than there are floors, the only way to collect them all is to retread the area until you’ve gathered them all. There are 165 stamps in total, and you can check how many stamps a💙n area has by looking at the Mementos overview.

There are three things Jose can boost for you: the experience gained from fights, money collected, and items found. Each of these options has ten total upgrades that become incrementally more expensive with each change, for a collective 🤪30 possible Mementos upgrades.

To max out every Mementos change, you'll need to find all 165 stamps.

The upgrades purchased with stamps apply even to insta-kills performed after getting 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the Chariot Confidant to Rank 7 and earning the ability to ꧑insta-kill enemies.

If you change your mind about what you’ve upgraded, you can reset the number of stamps invested into each category by paying Jose some flo𝔉wers. It takes more flowers to reset higher stamp tiers, so be mindful of the cost.
