But with the introduction of Fusion Alarms in P5R, increasing your Personas’ stats has become far kinder to both your playtime and your in-game wallet.
Persona 5 Royal’s Persona stats still take some doing, ꦰbut there’s now a reliabl🅷e method to making your Personas stronger than ever before. If you’re looking for how to increase Persona stats in P5R, you’ve come to the right place for a step-by-step guide.
Updated on April 11, 2023 by Gabrielle Castania: With the success of Persona 5 Royal still just as prevalent as ever, plenty of players are still wondering how to increase Persona stats in P5R. We’ve gone back through our guide to doing so, smoothing out the process and updating the photos to help you boost your Persona’s stats even faster.
Since this method relies on having late-stage C🍬onfidant rankings with multiple characters in P5R, this guide cont♚ains slight spoilers for Persona 5 Royal.
How Does The Velvet Room Gallows Work?
The Gallows Execution in the Velvet Room is the fastest way to increase 🧔your Persona’s stats in P5R♉.
When selecting your fusion method, choose “Strengthen Persona” from the menu. This will bring up your stock of Personas, as the method for performing a Gallows execution to boost your stats requires you to sacrifice one Persona to strengthen another.
When your sacrificial Persona has been executed, it will grant a power increase to the target Persona. The higher the level of the sacrifice, the more EXP you’ll earn upon execution.
Using a Persona of the same arcana as your target also increases the amount of EXP earned.
Additionally, the higher your Confidant ranking with the person representing the arcana of the target Persona, the more EXP you’ll earn as well.
The target Persona can earn not only levels from the gallows execution, but new moves from the sacrificed Persona as well.
When the execution is complete, if it was a success, you’ll earn levels, stat boosts, and moves at the end.
You can see the preview of what your target Persona’s stats will look like once the fusion is complete before you perform it, ♛just to double-check.
Fusion Alarms do not begin until after securing the route to the treasure in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Kaneshiro’s Bank palace.
Likewise, Gallows Fusion is locked until you do the same in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Futaba’s Pyramid.
Notes On Our Method
There’s an exploit that you can perform within Mementos to speed up the process of boosting your Persona stats in P5R, which we detail at length below.
This process will require you to not only have reached Rank 8 in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Chihaya Mifune’s Confidant progression, but Rank 7 in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Ryuji’s Confidant as well.
These rankings unlock new abilities that you’ll need for the grind ahead: Chihaya can increase the likelihood of Fusion Alarms sounding, and Ryuji’s Rank 7 skill allows you to insta-kill shadows weaker than yourself without having to actually fight them.
In this process, you’ll still earn the money, EXP, and newly-recruited Personas you’d normally earn, but without the need to fight them manually. This ability is unequivocally helpful in saving time in this process!
Regardless, this strengthening process can still get a bit expensive, so be sure you’re 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:speaking with Jose regularly to boost the amount of money you earn in Mementos to offset your expense as much as possible.
Technically, this exploit also works in palaces as well, but it’s much easier within Mementos. This is because there are more shadows within Mementos, meaning more oꦏptions for insta-kills to speed up the process.
Additionally, with Jose’s tweaks to the cognition of Mementos, you stand to earn much more money in Mementos than you can in palaces. You'll need a good amount of yen for this anyway, so it never hurts to pad your wallet in the process.
Finally, leaving your target Persona in Solitary Confinement in the Velvet Room is another good way to boost their stats, but you need to leave them for some time in order to reap the benefits and will therefore be unable to use them in that time. We found this method below to be quicker in the long run.
Optional Step Zero: Prepare Yourself For Mementos
Part of your preparatory work for this method is advancing your Confidant rankings with Ryuji and Chihaya to the appropriate level as mentioned above.
You can still do this exploit without either of those Confidant rankings – it just takes far longer, so save yourself the ti༒me whenev🍬er you can!
When you wish to start this process, visit Chihaya at her booth in Shinjuku for a reading. She’s available Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays (so long as it isn’t raining).
Have her read the fortune that speeds up Fusion Alarms sounding in Mementos.
Do this each time you intend to perform thi⭕s strengthening process to ꦛsave time.
Step One: Get Your Target And Offering Personas Ready Early
Before going into Mementos for the night, visit the Velvet Room to withdraw both your target and sacrificial Personas.
When choosing a Persona to sacrifice, you stand to gain new moves during the process, so be sure to choose one with skills you’d like to pass down.
Be sure you do this before going into Mementos for the night, though. Once the Fusion Alarm is triggered, buying a Persona from your Compendium dramatically boosts the likelihood of a fusion accident.
We’re trying to avoid this happening for right now, so be sure you have both Personas you’ll need beforehand. Accidents see the twins kick you out of the Velvet Room and ends the alarm, so prepare early.
We'll need two Personas total that we'll then fuse into a Persona of the same arcana as your target Persona to max out the gains from this process.
We register this new Persona before using it in the Gallows, so you won't have to repeat this process again the next time you're trying to increase your Persona stats in P5R.
Step Two: Grind In Mementos To Trigger A Fusion Alarm
Now that we’re inside Mementos, you’ll want to grind through shadows until you trigger a Fusion Alarm back in the Velvet Room.
This is where Ryuji’s insta-kill perk is invaluable, as you’ll be fighting each of these shadows yourself without it. Insta-kills still count toward your Fusion Alarm, so focus on shadows outlined in green.
Try to find Personas that are weaker than you that you’ll be able to insta-kill, but that are close to your level.
The stronger they are, the more EXP and cash you earn. And in🐽 a process that requires a lot of both, earn as much as 💞you can, while you can in order to fund this strengthening.
Repeat the process of killing and collecting Personas until you’ve got two Personas to fuse and a Fusion Alarm going off.
With Chihaya’s reading, you’ll almost always trigger an Alarm within five kills.
Step Three: Fuse A Highlighted Persona
The next step in this process is fusing your two Personas that you brought with you in order to create the one you’ll feed to your target Persona.
Personas fused during Fusion Alarms are highlighted in your stock, and those highlighted Personas yield better results when used as ingredients for other fusions.
Once you’ve fused this Persona, it’s pivotal that you register it in the Compendium or update its existing registry to reflect its highlighted status.
Step Four: Offer This New Persona To Your Target Persona
When you’re ready to get the ball rolling, select Gallows Execution from the menu with Igor, and then offer the fodder Persona to your target Persona.
When the fodder Persona is hanged, the target Persona should gain at least one level, as well as some stat boosts and a move from the fodder Persona.
If the fodder Persona didn’t pass down the move you were hoping for, don’t worry.
We feed the same fodder Persona to the same target Persona many times in this process, so unless you’re about to finish, don’t worry about re-rolling to get the move you wanted, as you’ll likely get it on a su🅺bsequent sacrifice.
Every fusion your perform during a Fusion Alarm increases the likelihood of accidents. An༺d now that we have ♊our highlighted Personas as we needed it, we don’t have to worry about accidents anymore.
Step Five: Get Your Offering Persona Out Again
We know we told you to steer clear of the Compendium before going into Mementos for the night, but now, you want to withdraw your highlighted Persona a second time.
That’s because we’re hoping for an accident on our second fusion, as this is🗹 the sharpest stat boost your target Persona can receive.
By buying the target Persona again from the Compendium, you’re all but guaranteeing an accident on your next fusion. On the odd chance we don’t get an accident, then simply repeat this step and try again, now with an increased♔ likelihood of accidents.
Step Six: Offer The Persona To The Target Persona Again
The final step in this process is to offer the highlighted fodder Persona to the target Persona via a second Gallows Execution.
This process is the same as it was the first time just a moment ago, but now, you’re hoping for an accident to occur.
If everything has been done correctly, the fusion accident should result in your target Persona getting a stat boost without leveling up.
The leveling aspect was taken care of during the first fusion, and now this secondary one is simply to further boost your Persona’s stats.
Step Seven: Repeat As Needed
Now that your highlighted Persona is registered, you can reliably use it to boost the stats of your target Persona until the target has reache🎐d your desired strength and stats.
Continue the process of feeding the fodder Persona to the target for sake of passing along levels, take the Persona out a second time to try to force an accident after that, and then feed the fodder Persona to the target again for a sharp increase in stats.
This can be repeated until your Persona has reached its max level, for however many Personas y🅠ou can afford to super-charge like t🎉his.
