Updated May 12, 2024 by Quinton O'Connor: Persona's popularity hasn't exactly dwindled since we last updated this list. To accommodate the ongoing Atlus love, we have included more tips on what makes each of these profoundly powerful Personas tick.
18 😼 Pallas Athena
Athena is the Greek goddess of war who led noble warriors in a civ🍒ilized manner and placed justice and righteouꦰsness as her top priorities, as opposed to her savage brother, Ares.
As the ultimate Persona of the Justice Arcana in both Persona 2: Innocent Sin and Eternal Punishment, she'll be tearing through opponents with devastating physical skills.
It has a base Strength stat 💟of 69, coupled with attacks such as Mighty Swing and Deathbound to provide some serious damage output.
However, she shines in Eternal Punishment, where she is given more magical utility in the form of Dಞivine Judgment, which causes s𝓡izable Holy damage to all enemies with a 50 percent chance of the unconscious ailment.
17 Cybele
Cybele is Persona 5's ultimate Persona 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:of the Priestess arcana, as well as the ultimate ♌Persona of the Lovers arcana in the third game. Known in the Greek and Roman pantheons as a go𝓡ddess of motherhood, she can put her nurturing nature to work as a member of your party.
Cybele is one of the best healers you can get your hands on. Her healing skills, like Samarecarm, Mediarahan, and the extremely powerful Salvation — which fully restores the entire party's HP and cures all ailments — are sure to be a boon.
Unfortunately, she's weak to Nuclear, which becomes more of a problem late game, but she reflects Bless attacks by default and is, in the original Persona 5, the only Persona that naturally learns Drain Bless. (She's joined by one more in Royal.)
16 Surt
If you require raw, magical-damage ou🍰tput, then Surt has you covered. This Norse god of fire has😼 been a staple in Persona since its second game and SMT since its first. Its Magic stat and moveset are enough to let you know what Surt is about.
It starts at level 50 or above in Persona 3, 4, and 5 and is likely the go-to Persona to exploit a Fire weakness. With Ragnarok, Fire Amp, and Concentrate, the amount of damage that can be done is nothing short of explosive, but Sur꧅t can struggle a bit against Ice-based foes🗹.
Surt may be a bit one-note, but it's a note the god strikes brutally well.
15 Trumpeter
Trumpeter is of the Judgment Arcana and is based on one of the seven trumpeting angels that will announce the end times in the Book of Revelation. It can also mark the end of your enemies' lives.
In Pers🔜ona 5 particularly, Trumpeter excels in a support role. It has the auto-skills Life Aid, which restores both HP and SP after every battle and Fortify Spirit, which makes you more resistant to pesky ailments.
Its actual power move comes in the debuff Debilitate, which lowers the attack, defense, and agility of one foe for three turns, which is a great option for boss fights. As a bonus, it isn't weak to anything and sports many resistances.
14 Mada
In Persona 4, Mada is the ultimate🧸 Persona of the Magician Arcana, with massive jaws that coan swallow the entire universe. Mada returns to this lofty position as the ultimate Tower arcana Persona in the fifth game.
He has an unfortunate weakness to Ice damage, but there are ways to🃏 circumvent this. On the plus side, he blocks the common late-game damage types of Nuclear, Psy, and Fire.

Persona 3 Reload V♍s. Persona 5 Royal: Which Game Is Better? ﷺ
S.E.E.S. or Phantom Thiev💦es: who should you go with?
He can deal massive Fire damage to enemies and is🃏 one of the few Personas that know the Blazing Hell skill. In addition, he provides some passive ben♏efits as well.
For example, Unshaken Will ma💮kes you immune to mental ailments, and Enduring Soul allows you to survive a fatal b🌌low and recover all your HP.
13 Black Frost ᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚ
An evil mirror version of the fun-loving spirit of Jack Frost who, according to in-game lore, remembered its true nature as a demon. It's a powerful member of the Fool Arcana and has no weaknesses while at the same time blocking, reflecting, or absorbing several kinds of damage.
It's capable of dealing high-level Ice damage to foes, and has access to Ice Amp and Freeze Boost skills, making him that much more formidable. You'll probably be quite far into the game before you can recruit him, but it's worth adding him to your team when you've got the chance.
12 Maria
Usually available in the Shin Megami Tensei series, Maria makes her first appearance in a Persona chapter in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Persona 5 Royal as the final Persona in the Faith Arcana.
With Christian imagery widely abundant in the SMT universe, we aren't surprised that the mother of Jesus would be making an appearance. Maria brings many support skills that make her one of the most powerful Personas in the series.
Maria's Holy Benevolence revives all party members with full HP at 27 SP, while Invigorate 3 gives you 7 SP each turn.
11 Alice
Alice is one of the highest-level Personas in the Death Arcana, which might give you an idea of how powerful she is. She's based both on the protagonist from Lewis Carroll's book Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, and a Scandinavian myth of a child who died and whose spirit gained so much magical energy that it drove her mad.
She's essentially a nuke with a ridiculously high magic stat; she has the insta-kill move Mamudoon and Mudo Boost, and her signature move, Die for Me!, has a high chance of instantly killing all enemies on the field.
10 Satan
This demon's reputation precedes him. Satan, a prominent figure in Abrahamic religions, is generally depicted as a master of temptation, luring humanity away from God's grace. We don't know what fusing this Persona says about the state of your soul, but he'll be helpful on the battlefield.

The Persona series includes multiple spinoff games, and here is a look at every title that spawned from the al🌊ready fantastic franchise.
In Persona 5, Satan's the ultimate Persona of the Judgment Arcana. He has some excellent auto moves that can keep you going for longer, like Regenerate 3 and Invigorate 3, which give you HP and SP after each turn in battle, respectively.
He also has access to high-le൩vel Ice attacks to freez💙e out your foes, and no weaknesses to boot.
9 🔯 Zaou-Gongen
Based on one of the mountain gods of Japanese Shugendou. In both its Persona appearances - 4 and 5, to be exact - Zaou-Gongen is the ulti🧸mate Persona to be unlocked in the Strength Arcana.
You'll have to get a hold of it through Velvet Room fusions after you complete the Strength Confidant. The first Persona to learn Blazing Hell, you'll love Zaou-Gongen's offer to let you roast your enemies to a crisp.
Remember to give Zaou-Gongen a Gun ability through the fusions because his Cripple ability incr🧸eases Gun damage by 50 percent.
