PewDiePie thinks the plan to storm Area 51 "makes a lot of sense," but there'💦s no word on whether he'll be showing up at the govern🥃ment facility on September 20th, 2019.
For the past few weeks, many have been making "plans" to storm Area 51. In fact, someone has cr🦄eated a titled "Storm Area 51, They Can't Stop All of Us." The event, whose creator has since admitted is simply a joke that has gotten out of hand, is now closing in on the two million mark in terms of those claiming they're interested in attending.
With the terrifying prospect of more than two million people thinking this is a good idea aside, the event's popularity has naturally garner🀅ed a lot of traction online. If you have seen a meme at any point in recent 𝔉weeks, chances are it was related to the Area 51 raid in some way.
The event's crossover into the meme world is why PewDiePie felt the need to contribute commentary on the whole situation. In a recent video uploaded to YouTube, the Swedish streamer naturallಞy came across a fair few Area 51-themed memes. That's when he declared that storming the heavily guarded government facility "actually makes a lot of sense."
"Like, what are they going to do? If a million people show up, what are they gonna ♛do, oka🐟y?," PewDiePie asked rhetorically during the video, which is available for viewing above.
Quite possibly, those storming Area 51 won't get very far due to American forces protecting the area. Plus, the mere sight of an Area🍬 51 guard with a gun ♏will send at least half, or more, of the attendees running.
In the meantime, onlookers will simply have to wait until September 20th to find out exactly how many of the "interested" partiℱes actually show up to Area 51. Despite the number continuing to grow as we speak, the likelihood that the vast majority of those people will bother showing up is fairly low. That'll make the situation even more awkward and dangerous for those who are truly intent on invadi🅠ng Area 51.
