Last night during IGN's "Summer of Gaming" stream, 2K Sports presented a first look gameplay trailer of its upcoming golf sim 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:PGA Tour 2K21. Developed by HB Studios (the team responsible for The Golf Club series), this short trailer already looks like a pretty solid improvement on🐼 its predecessor.
For those unfamiliar, HB released The Golf Club 2019 Featuring PGA Tour back in 2018. Originally a self-published title, 2K Games was able to work out a deal and include the official PGA license for HB Studios, which ended up rebranding that year's Golf Club. Now, the previous entries are considered the start of the new PGA Tour 2K line.
This newest entry will be the first that drops the Golf Club moniker and goes full in on 2K's branding. It also seems to be addressing a lot of the complaints players ha✅d with previous installments. We can't figure out if things like three-click, backspin adjustment, or proper stat modification are here, but this teaser does show off quite a bit.
For one, the commentary looks to be improved. The trailer is using some pre-baked voice-overs that won't be included in the final product, but it looks like 2K is going꧋ for a more "authentic" PGA experience. To that end, the career mode will see actual fans in the stands cheering you on, something that was bizarrely barren♛ in the last go around.
All of the other expected flourishes of a golf simulator are present, like customizable clothes and club selection. We get glimpses of some of the available courses, which include TPC Sawgrass, TPC Deere Run, an♕d East Lake. T🎉he was also revealed shortly after this trailer went live, which includes cover star Justin Thomas and fan-favorite Jim Furyk.
There is still a lot we need to see before being able to definitely say if this is a proper continuation of EA's excellent Tiger Woods PGA Tour series, but it looks like 2K is on the right track. It definitely h꧂as the styleജ down: now it just needs to hit the fairway in regulation and we'll be all set.
