Gearbox is tweaking Borderlands 3’s Mayhem 2.0, ‘cause some of it really sucked.
At the end of April, Gearbox unveiled its first attempt to change 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Borderlands 3’s 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Mayhem Mode for the better. In general, Mayhem was designed to provide an end-game🀅 experience that was both ꦆchallenging and rewarding, and while it got some of that right, it missed the mark when it came to the whole “fun” aspect of the game.
One of the biggest problems that 🐽Mayhem 2.0 had was that normal trash mobs became bullet-soaking♊ walls with an enormous HP bar, especially when it came to higher Mayhem levels. Scaling was a big problem when you dial up the Mayhem, so Gearbox is looking into that problem in their two-phased approach to fixing Mayhem 2.0.
Phase 1 will specifically 💞look at stat scaling and gear scaling. While certain enemies become 🍎unreasonably tough at higher Mayhem levels, certain weapons and gear for the player become utterly useless as well. Both are problems that require a similar solution.
In this phase, Gearbox "will lower the health, armor, and shield stat bonuses that enemies receive in the higher levels of Mayhem" so that they become killable in a reasonable amount of time. They're also going to rebalance all weapons and gear so that t൲hey become "viable and balanced." This means that certain over-performing weapons will be tacked down, while under-performing guns will get a boost.
While Phase 1 deals with gear stats, Phase 2 will look at character stats. The ♊second phase of changes will rebalance character builds to increase build diversity as well as tweaking each character's Action Skill damage to be a bit more relevant.
That's right, Moze player⛄s: Iron Bear will be ✃a meaningful ability once again.
And if you want ♔to go all-in on Action Skills, Phase 2 will also add new damage bonuses to clas🍌s mods specifically for Action Skills.
There’s other stuff too, like quality-of-life changes that will improve stability, performance, and a new stat that will reveal the Mayhem level of gear. We do🦋n’t have a date on when these changes will be implemented but expect Phase 1 to start in an upcomiꩵng patch or hotfix.
