Who꧋ is Apollo Justice, and why is he important to the Ace Attorney series?

This is the first case in Dual Destinies to feature investigation, so it might be a slight learning curve if this is your f𒈔irst Ace Attorney game. Luckily, the game provides plenty in the form of direction and hints. Nevertheless, here's the rundown.

Day 1: Investigation

Trucy at the Wright Agency in Dual Destinies

Most of the introductory scenes in this chapter don't require that you do anything. Read on through the scenes, Moving to the Kyubi Manor Garden when prompted, and meet most oꩲf the princi🐠ple cast of this chapter.

Eventually, you'll be presented with Jinxie, who won't speak to you out of fear. To dispel the fear, Present your Attorney's Badge - this will let you Talk to her.

During Investigation segments, when we ask you to 'Talk' to someone, it means exhausting all of their dialogue options.

Watch the scenes that follow, which reveal the big mystery of the chapter. Once you regain control, Move to the Detention Center and Talk to Damian Tenma here. Once you've exhausted his dialogue, Move to Yokai Lane to meet Athena.

Talk to Athena to learn more about her, and then begin your investigation by Moving to the Kyubi Manor Foyer. Read through the scenes with Filch, and then move to the Fox Chamber.

Here, you'll meet yet another character, Bobby Fulbright. Talk to him to learn that he's not going to let you investigate so easily. After the short scene, the chair will be moved - Examine the green fabric again to learn more about it.

Now, you'll be able to give the room a more thorough investigation. You'll be able to change your viewpoint here, looking at the room from different angles. Examine the vent on the ceiling, the spear on the table, the bloodied statue next to the chair, and the window to get a bunch of clues and evidence. Once you're done Examining things, you'll be told that you're finished and should then Talk to Bobby Fulbright about what you found.

Filch's introduction in Dual Destinies

The game will move you back to the Foyer automatically, where you can Talk to Filch. After finishing this conversation with the clue about the mask, Move to Yokai Lane.

Using perception on Tenma in Dual Destinies

You'll be treated to a tutorial on how to use Apollo's special power of lie detection: Perceive. With this tutorial, you're told where to find the twitch (underneath Tenma's right eye),🅰 but in the future, you'll have to find these 🍸twitches yourself.

In this case, you'll need to hit the Perceive button when the sentence reaches the phrase regarding tourist destinations. Then, when prompted to prove that he's lying about the monster craze, Present the Amazing Nine-Tails Glossy. Talk to Tenma about the merger 🐬to learn more about his r🦩easons for pursuing it.
