The next generation of console war will kick off later this year via the releases of the Microsoft's 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Xbox Series X and Sony's 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:PlayStation 5. As we hurtle ever closer to those undetermined release dates, morཧe information will be revealed about the two consoles so that consumers can make an informed decision regarding which one they want to buy. As of right now, though, information on either is hard to come by. Thankfully, it seems as if that will all change next month.
Mark February 5 On Your Calendars
That's right, all signs point to the PS5 finally and officially being revealed at some point in February. There are a few schools of thought that have led to this 🎃deduction, one being that PlayStation will hold on February 5, 2020. The February 5 leak is the most recent, and the one boasting the most information. It claims that the console itself along with its controllers will be flaunted, which will stop the rest of us from trying to guess what it might look like.
Rumor has it the price point and release date will also be confirmed🍰 on February 5 for $499 and some time in October. There's one big problem with these leaks, though. They also claim Sony will return to E3 this year after skipping it in 2019. Since the leak made it out into the world, Sony has indeed confirmed that it will not be attending E3 for the second year in a row.
But, Also Mark February 12
The longest-standing reveal rumor dates all the way back to August 2019. That leak claims Sony will be holding its big PS5 reveal . If that leak is correct, the reveal will focus less on the above and more on the titles that will come along with it. Exclusive footage of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Last Of Us 2 will be shown, and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Assassin's Creed: Ragnarok's development will be finally made official as the potentially upcoming title will play a big role on the day. It makes sense as the franchise has bee𝄹n used to show off new consoles and their capabilities in th🗹e past.
You Know What, Just Keep February Free
If you don't have a calendar handy, you might not have realized by this point that the two dates ruꦏmored for Sony's big PS5 event are both Wednesdays. This is no accident. The Pla🌞yStation 4's big and official unveiling took place on a Wednesday seven years ago, and it also took place in February. The console was then released nine months later in November 2013.
At the PS4's big unveiling, Sony revealed the new console's name, logo, and Dualshock. That means if the PS5's event does happen in February, it will be very different 💯from the PS4's. Sony might not have revealed much about its upcoming console, but its name and logo have already been officially confirmed. Perhaps the fact that Sony isn't exactly breaking new ground when it comes to naming its consoles and creating its logos has something to do with that. That information already being officially out there fills us with hope that the rumored February event will reveal something of more substance about the console.
February reveal or not, it will be decision time before you know it. Many of us will be staring at screens or stood in stores, staring at the Series X and the PS5, trying to decide which console is going to accompany us into the new generation. Time to starting giving us that coveted information Sony and Microsoft, as 🌊some of us want to start making our minds up now.
