Photo Mode is arguably one of the best additions to consoles in recent memory. Previously limited to folks willing to hook up their system to ൲a PC with a capture card, now anybody with a new PlayStation, Xbox, or Switch can easily snag a few pics of their own. Over on the , developers and other industry emღployees are sharing their best screenshots of 2020, showing of some of the most beautiful games of the year.
Several studios decided to join in on the screenshot-sharing fun, including Insomniac Games, Santa Monica Studio, and Sucker Punch. Images were captured both🐭 on PS4 and PS5, spanning a variety of games – although not all of them are So🌞ny exclusives.
Here are a few of our favorites, althoughও a full list can be found .
Ghost of Tsushima
The above still was captured by Keith Lee, CEO of Counterplay – the studio behind Godfall. Lee accompanied the image with the following quote: "Today isℱ victory over yourself of yesterday; tomorrow is your victory o꧒ver lesser men." – The Book of Five Rings."
Spider-Man: Miles Morales
Both the original Spider-Man game and Miles Morales are loaded with prime photo ops. From towering skyscrapers to acrobatic combat, not a moment goes♍ by where you're not inundated with chances to snap a quick pic. Benoit Richer, Co-Dev Game Director on Assassin's Creed Val🍷halla, decided to take a quick selfie while posing on top of a building, getting a nice view of cityscape. "I played until 3:30am (when this selfie was taken) because I felt I was living a "Moment'," said Richer.
There's also this adren🌳aline pumping shot from Rafael Grassetti, the Art Director 𓆉at Santa Monica Studio.
Oh, and one more from Louis Studdert, a Producer for Toys for Bob who worked on Crash Band🎐ic🌟oot 4.

Needless to say, Spider-Man has become a go-to vehicle for beautif🧔ul virtual photography.
Astro's Playroom
PlayStation ends the blog with a quick note from Hermen Hulst, Head of PlayStation Studios, and an image taken by the PS Blog staff. It features Astro-styled Helghast – from the Killzone franchise – marc꧑hing in the background, a sight that caused Hurst to "burst out laughing."
