This week marks the first anniversary of the PS5's launch. The new-gen console is an industry leader in a lot of ways. Perhaps most notably its DualSense controller, something 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Xbox has admitted it wants to learn fr✅om. The new PlayStation console's online store, on the other hand, isn't quite as critically acclaimed as its controllers. That's why any news of it being changed or updated in some way is probably going to be welcomed with open arms.

Today, PlayStation announced through multiple Twitter accounts that the PS5's store has a new wishlist feature. Or it may have just been letting console owners know the feature is there, as highlighted by . Either way, the tweet informs PS5 owners that its store includes a feature that allows you to get notifications when a game on your wishlist is on sale.

Whether the feature has been there all along or was added via a recent update, it doesn't seem to activate all by itself. There are a few simple steps you need to take before you'll receive notifications letting you know when games you want have dropped in price. The steps you need to follow to activate the feature can be found below.

  • Open Settings in the top right-hand corner of the home screen and scroll down to Notifications.
  • Scroll down to Wishlist Updates.
  • Click the tab to determine when Wishlist Notifications appear.
  • From there you can activate them as well as deciding whether they can still appear during gameplay and while you're watching videos.

While games can often be more expensive to download digitally through the PS Store as opposed to buying them physically, that isn't always the case. Sometimes relatively new titles can go on sale through the PS Store. The problem is unless you actively check, you probably won't know they're available for a reduced price. This feature makes sure you will know and could save you some cash while adding to your eternal backlog.

As for whether the feature is new or has been there all along, perhaps it is the latter and PlayStation just wanted to make sure PS5 owners know about it. More and more are finding consoles every day after all with 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:13.4 million PS5s sold so far w🧸orldwide.
