is mu𝕴ch more rigorous ܫthan its adorable animation and title suggest. Players must navigate politics, religion, and huge egos to build up their empires.
PiedPipers and Neowiz put the game out just last month, and it has already racked up top marks on Steam. As the title would imply Plebby Quest: The Crusades is set during, ding-ding, the Crusades. In order to survive, and win, players need to wheel and deal their way through power-hungry kingdoms, reliꦜgious demands, and everyone else just looking out for themselves. As a turn based game there are two modes: Scenario, which follows a story and Sandbox, where there are no limits to your plebe’s options for conquering.
There’s a special kind of balance that needs to be struck during this game, which includes appeasing everyone—including God. Neighboring kingdoms can attack if a blunder is made, accusations of heresy could literally burn everything to the ground, and then of course there’s the choice of whether or 💛not to start a war. Besides the war and politics, rulers also have to maintain the inner workings of their kingdoms. Staying alive requires keeping the military strong by leveling up the forces and fortify infrastructure to keep the walls from crumbling. There are tons of plates to keep spinning in this game that spans the entire known world.
Despite the precious looking characters, there's a lot that goes in to surviving and dominating in the 11th century.
