Sometimes our choices about the media we enjoy can say a lot about us. For example, I'm sure many people have been asked "What's your Hogwarts house?" as a kind of personality test. For fans of the Pokémon franchise, you might ask someone what their favorite starಌter is, or which is their favorite Eeveelution, or even what type would they focus on as a trainer.
Well, we're here to combine these two metrics. We don't just want to know what House you're sorted into, or just what Pokémon are on your team. No, inꦗstead we've put together some Pokémon for each Hogwarts House, a team that will hopefully see you through your gym challenge and safely back to school before Transfiguration class. Let's see exactly would Pokémon would be best for you, based on sorting.
10 10. Slytherin: 🎶Honchkrow 👍
Slytherin is defined by their cunning and ambition and is viewed by many people as an "evil" house. Honchkrow is modeled after a mob boss, and Slytherins are perfectly willing to get their hands dirty to secure themselves an empire. However, once they're on top, they're even more willing to have their cronies do the dirty work for them. Honchkrow lead whole flocks of Murkro♐w and deal with their peons ruthlessly. If a Murkrow fails to gathe🎐r enough food for it, the Honchkrow feels betrayed and will hunt the Murkrow down to punish them.
9 💛 9. Ravenclaw: Alakazam 💙
Ravenclaw, the house e🦹mbodied by wit and cunning. They can be either ideal students who study hard for exams an♑d always have something to say in class, or they can be idle dreamers always thinking up an unexpected solution to a problem. In either case, they're intelligent and determined to solve whatever riddle is put in front of them.
Therefore, it's only appropriate that these brainiacs𒈔 have an equally intelligent Pokémon for them to match wits against. Alakazam's brain cells never stop multiplying and it can have an IQ of 5000. It never forgets anything it learns and apparently its head continues to grow until it dies. Its brain can be so heavy that it's forced to hold its head with with telekinesis.
8 8. Huf𓆏flepuff♒: Snorlax
Hufflepuffs have gained a reputation as the "stoner" house, m🌃ostly because they're pretty laid back and friendly, and because their common room is located close to the kitchens. Having a Snorlax won't do anything to dispel thoꦛse stereotypes. These Pokémon are massive, but all they really want to do is eat and sleep. Relatable. They've appeared in several games as roadblocks because they're immovable unless they choose to let you pass. Snorlax would be a steady, reliable partner for any good Hufflepuff. And, hey, being close to the kitchens will be useful. Snorlax can eat around 880 lbs of food every day!
7 ♋ 7. Gryffindor: Pyroar
And then there are Gryffindors, the protagonists of life, full of hero complexes and righteous anger. Gryffindors have a finely tuned moral compass. They're represented by the noble lion, of which there are several in the Pokémon world. Pyroar is a Fire-type Pokémon and lives in prides like the lions of our world. The male with the largesܫt mane will lead the pride, but it's the female Pyroar who hunt and defend the cubs. Like many Fire Pokémon, Pyroar have an explosive temper. Gryffindors' hearts are usually in the right place, but they can sometimes act without thinking if they think there's some injustice afoot.
6 6.𒊎 Slytherin: Serperior ꧑
Slytherin's house mascot is a sneaky snake. While there are quite a few snake Pokémon to choose from, like Arbok, Seviper, and Sandaconda, there's one we think really exemplifies Slytherins. Serperior is practically made for Slytherin house. Not only is it a snake, it also matches the house colors, and looks like its descended from nobility. Since Slytherin has the highest proportion of pureblood students, Serperior emphasizes 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:their good breeding. Maybe Serperior and its Slytherin partner can swap i🃏ntimidation tips. Its Pokédex entry says it's able to freeze powerful opponents in place𝓰 by the strength of its gaze alone.
5 ꦦ 𒁏 5. Hufflepuff: Obstagoon
Next are the Hufflepuffs, identified by their loyalty and dedication to hard work. Their mascot is the mighty badger, and there are a couple badger-adjacent Pokémon. We've decided to go with Obstagoon. Fresh from 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Sword and Shield, Obstagoon is the regional evolution of Zigzagoon. 𒊎They're known for being loud and boisterous—kind of like Team Yell—which doesn't necessarily match Hufflepuff's image. However, it's signature move Obstruct is a defensive move that turns its opponents strength against them. That seems more than appropriate. Hufflepuffs like to go with the flow, but that doesn't mean they'll lay down in front of an opponent and take a beating.
4 4. Gryffindor: Growlithe ღ
Of course, a Gryffindor's defining characteristic is their courage. That's what gives them the strength to stand up against injustice and follow their moral compass. A Gryffindor can't just know the right thing to do and stay quiet about it. They're not going to stand idly by while someone else suffers. They're going to be brave and ﷽do the hard thing to make sure everyone's safe and sound.
Growlithe, the constant companion of Officer Jennys the world over, are some of the bravest Pokémon around.💫 They're not very large or powerful,🌼 because they haven't evolved in Arcanine yet. Still, that doesn't stop them from standing firm against evildoers. According to its Pokédex entries, it'll face off against much larger Pokémon in order to defend its friends.
3 ไ 💖 3. Ravenclaw: Metagross
Metagross is an interesting Pokémon. It's dual Psychic/Steel-type, making it pretty powerful right off the bat. It would be a great addition to any team, but will probably get along best with someone who has any hope of keeping up with it intellectually. They're so incredibly smart because they literally have four brains. Metagross are the third and final evolution of Beldum; like so🍬me other metallic Pokémon (Magnemite, for example) Beldum evolve by fusing together. Two Beldum make one Metang, and when two Metang fuse, they make a Metagross with the processing speed of a supercomputer. Maybe Metagross can help you study for exams.
2 2. S🐽lytherin: Malamar
We don't think🐎 believe that all Slytherins all evil, but we have to admit that sometimes a Slytherin's ambitions can lead them to making morally questionable decisions in service of building their own power base. If any of these Pokémon could be calle𝐆d "evil" it would be Malamar.
This squid-like Pokémon has such a powerful psychic ability that it can ta💝ke control of a person's body, or even whole groups of people, and control them like puppets. Even its Pokédex entry says that they've been used in the past to aid in nefarious plots. One entry claims that Malamar are rumored to have been involved with a number of influential historical events that changed the course of the world. Can't you imagine a Slytherin lurking behind the scenes, using their trusty Malamar to pull all the right strings?
1 💟 1. Gryffindor: Aegislash
The historical relic of Godric Gryffindor, founder of Hogwarts and exemplar of all the traits Gryffindors are known to embody, was a sword. This was probably because Godric Gryffindor himself was some kind of warrior, like a knight fighting for justice. In a similar vein, Aegislash is a Pokémon that is literally just one big sentient sword. According to legend, Aegislash were sometimes responsible for singlingꦉ out people who were destin🤡ed to be king or had some noble blood. Gryffindors, when they learn to rein in their fiery temperament, make excellent leaders. They could even learn a little something from a partner Pokémon that makes it obvious when it's time to attack and when it's time to wait and see.
