Despite being the younger brother of the current Pokémon Champion of the Galar region, he's so untalented with little to no skills in battle that it makes him sound like an overconfident tool most of the time. He's sadly just another rival who showcases the downward trend of the role ove𓆏r the years.
9 Professor Magꦑnolia

In terms of personality, he happens to be welcoming and friendly despite carrying some൩ real Carrot Top energy as a super buff ginger-haired guy. Thankfully he doesn't whip out any cringe props for jokes.
7 Your Mom
Now, your mom might not have a name and is only really relevant at the beginning and end of your journey through the Galar region, but that doesn't mean she is🔜n't rad.
On top of sporting a really cute outfit, she also happens to be super encouraging and helpful to her child. It's clear and evident that she only wants the best for you and that she'll always be your #1 fan. The internet has joked about how cute she is, but there isn't a rule that says moms in Pokémon games aren't allowed to be cute.
6 Bede
With Hop being such a lackluster and disappointing rival, it's good that GameFreak was smart enough to also include a secondary rival by way of Bede. He's a very prideful and skilled 🌄trainer who takes an alternate𒀰 journey after you as the player character destroys his dreams of becoming a champion.
Bede will likely be the fairy-type gym leader and take over for Opal, considering she was grooming him through𒁃out the game. If a 3rd ver꧃sion comes out in 2020, don't be surprised if Bede takes over for Opal full-time.
5 Leon
Leon is the current champion of the Galar region, the older brother of the player's rival named Hop, and a childhood friend of Sonia. He sports a cool design that features a ro𝓡yal looking cape and some unique facial hair.
He is the one who gives you your 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:starter Pokémon, which is fitting considering🅠 his most trustworthy Pokémon partner is a Charizard. H💟e isn't perfect though as it is clearly demonstrated that he is terrible with directions and asks his Charizard to help guide his way.
4 Chairman Rose 🧔
Chairman Rose is initially introduced as this bri𒅌lliant Galarian figure who seems very altruistic and philanthropic in his desire to ✤make the region and great place for everyone.
Along the way, players start seeing cracks in his armor and his real desires♛ come to light. It turns out that he does in fact want the best for the Galar region, but he's willing to sacrifice the now to secure the region's future. It's always tough when the villain is simply someone trying to do good, b🥃ut in such a vile and desperate way.
3 Sonia
Sonia, unlike Hop, is a likable and useful side character who joins you sporadically along your journey through the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Galar region. She is both the assistant and granddaughter of the current lead Pokémon Professor of the Gal🐈ar region named Professo♓r Magnolia.
She also happens to be a childhood fri💜end of Hop's older brother and the current champion, Leon. She gives the player advice, tips, items and also happens to provide lore and history about the Galar region and its previous rulers.
2 Bea
Bea has quickly become the internet's waifu and many trainers bae in the Galar region. The fierce gym leader that can only be found in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pokémon Sword has won the hearts of trainers everywhere.
Her stoic attitude comes with silvery hair and a competitive nature that's simply unwavering. The coolest part about Bea is that you could easily see her as a character in the Last Airbender series and she would fit right in. Look for her to end up on a few anime body pillows in the yearsꦏ to come.
1 Marnie
Marnie is, for all intents and purposes, the main character of the Galar region. The resident team of disgruntled people called Team Yell are all fans of hers. On top of that her brother happens to be one of the gym leaders you'll face when yo🔯u finally arrive at the town of Spikemuth.
She's technically one of the playe✅r's rivals, but unlike Hop or Bede she's just trying to get better and never feels angry or spiteful towards the player. F🌺rom a design perspective, she's equal parts Forever 21 and Hot Topic.
