With Pikachu being the face of the entire series, it's no wonder that Electric-types are so popular among Pokemon fans. They can range anywhere from adorable creatuꦍres to intimidating monsters, with traditions like reg𝓡ional rodents being quick choices for fan favorites in each game.
Unfortunately, their power levels can vary significantly more between each species, meaning only a few non-legendary Electric-type Pokemon are going to be worth 𓆉your time. If you can only fit one on your team in each region, these are the ones you should go with if you just want the strongest option you ✱can find.
8 🐲 Galar: Morpeko 🐓
There are extremely few Pika-clones that can hit the highs of the original electric mouse, but Morpeko absolutely comes closest thanks tꦗo a unique Dark and Electric-typ🦄e combination. This gives it great range against a wider set of opponents than most Electric-types, helped further by a wide selection of moves outside its typings.
The key part of Morpeko that gives it strength, though, is its Aura Wheel ability that can 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:change types based on its form. This is generally more of a downside since your foe can easily predict its typing, but it'll also increase your speed and deal ludicrous damagᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚe whether you're Full Bellied or Hangry, giving Morpeko a huge impact in any battle.
7 𓆏 Alola: Vikavolt
Vikavolt is much scarier than you might think, particularly given its low Speed and high list of weaknesses as a Bu🐽g-type Pokemon. Surprisingly enough, its Levitate ability gives it some great vulnerability to Ground-type moves, the biggest threats to Electric-type fighters, and Bug-types don't actually have as many weaknesses as you'd expect.
Even if it had these weaknesses, it makes up for them incredibly well by having one of the highest Special Attack stats you could ask for on a Bug-type, meaning moves like Bug Buzz and Thunderbolt are going to hit terrifyingly hard. You'll want to take caution with this large thunderous beetle, but if you're careful it can be an exℱcellent heavy hitter.
6 𒈔 Kalos: Heliolisk 🐬
Usually 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:giving a Normal-type trait to a Pokemon is a sign🦋 that it'll become far worse, but Heliolisk defies this by having a great use of its Normal-type trait to be a powerful Special Attacker. This gives it more immunities than weaknesses, as its Fighting-tꦑype weakness doesn't affect it much due to Heliolisk's low HP and defensive stats and the Ghost-type immunity helps it avoid most opposing Special Attackers.
This isn't even mentioning its attack type range, as it gets remarkable additions both in the form of Water-type moves like Surf and Dragon-type moves like D🐲ragon Pulse. It might seem like more of a pest than a powerhouse, but Heliolisk is a great member of any Gen 6 team.
5 Unov൲𒉰a: Elektross
Elektross is incredibly difficult to raise well, with the earlier evolution of Tynamo being painfully weak and evolving at Level 39 before needing a Thunder Stone for its final evolution. Thankfully, you get an excellent amount of power, as Elektross's pure typing 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:and Levitate ability make it lack any weaknesses whatsoever.
This gives it eno𒀰ugh bulk to be an excellent mixed attacker, learning a great variety of Electric, Poison, Fire, and even Flying-type moves to suit any build you want. It's ⛄one of the most varied Electric-types of the entire series, and can truly be built to fit any role you need.
4 Sin🎃noh: Luxray
Sinnoh has easily one of the most competitive selections of Electric-type Pokemon of the entire series. Alongside new evolutions to classic Pokemon like Electivire and Magnezone, as well as the form𒐪-shifting Rotom, there can be many to choose from, but the most effective one will always be the easiest ones to obtain.
This would be Luxray, 𝓰a physically aggressive wildcat with powerful abilities like Intimidate and Guts to either weaken foes or maximize its strength. It almost is surprising to lack the Dark-type trait thanks to moves like Bite and Crunch, but it has even more range in breeding thanks to a wide selection of elemental꧂ Fang moves that can give Luxray tons of type advantages.
3 🐲Hoenn: Man🐷ectric
Manectric is very likely 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the most underrated Electric-type in all of Hoenn, and oddly enough is one of the only new ones added despite an entire Electric-type Gym. The only ot༒hers include Plusle and Minun, two Pika-clones meant for Double Battles that are hardly as effective as they need to be for most play🌳ers.
Manectric does far more, having wicked Speed and Special Attack stats that lets it outclass many Pokemon as early as Level 26 thanks to an early evolution level. You might t𒆙hink of this as a common piece of trash from the early stages of the Hoenn games, but if so you'd be missing out on a great spammer of moves like Discharge and Flamethrower.
2 Johto: Am🥂pharos
Most of Jo💟hto's new Electric-type Pokemon are quite weak, with Pichu and Lanturn both being somewhat underwhelming despite their popular designs and typings. That said, the main face of Johto's ༺Electric-types has some of the best all-around stats of any Gen 2 Pokemon, as Ampharos is one of the first true great Electric-type tanks in the series.
Ampharos only gets better in games where it can Mega Evolve, as it gains a unique Dragon-type trait and a ludicrous amount more Special Attack. This Pokemon can be a solid defensive shooter at its worst, but hits the strength of a l🍷egendary at its best.
1 🐎 Kanto: Jolteon
You'd think that this spot would go to Pikachu given its popularity, but unfortunately Pikachu has always lagged slightly in most games it appears in. There are tons of great competitive strategies 𒊎around it if you breed and find some good items, but a great Electric-type is usually defined by its simplicity.
This is what makes Jolteon so absurdly effective, having a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:simple Thunder Stone evolution and one of the highest Speed stats o🅠f any Electric-type Pokemon in the entire series. The other speedy Electric-types of the Kanto games like Electrode and Raichu can certainly run quite fast, but Jolteon will always run faster and be far easier to train, and you should always feel free to evolve your Eevee int💫o this form the moment you get it.
