The Fire-type is probably one of the most iconic set of monsters in the Pokémon universe. It's one of the three types our beginning trainers can choose from at the beginning of their journey and the type for many favorite Pokémon throughout the yearꦗs. One of the most famous Fire-type Pokémon, Charizard, has appeared in every generation, even VIII, when the other Kanto starters were left out.
Pokémon is a long-running franchise, and just t🐻his past decade has introduced us to many new friends and companions in their world. Poké🔯mon like Charizard and Moltres might be iconic, but there's always room for new legends to join the roster of great Fire-type Pokémon.
10 Talonflame 📖
Talonflame is a fun addition to the Fire type because it's also the final evolution of Generation VI's early-game bird line. Historically, these early birds have almost exclusively Normal/Flying. The Flying type was tied closely to Normal for a long time, and up until Gen V th൲ere were no mono-type Flying Pokémon; if you were just a straight up bird, you had to be Normal/Flying. Talonflame breaks t🦩hat mold, giving players an opportunity to add a Fire-type to their team early if they didn't pick the Fire starter.
9 🌟 Centiskorch
Centiskorch is from the mosౠt recent generation and really is an exceptional Po🌞kémon. Fire/Bug is a somewhat unusual combination that gives it decent coverage, plus it's a primarily physical attacker, giving it a respectable niche in battles.
It haꦿs a great design too, with the glowing hot spots on its belly and its magnificent flame mustache. It's Gigantamax form is also really 🎃cool, making this long boy even longer; Gigantamax Centiskorch is the tallest of all Gigantamax Pokémon!
8 Salazzle
Salazzle aren't easy to come by in-game. They evolve from Salandit, but only the females are able to reach their final form and they have only a 12.5% spawn rate. Male Salandit, according to the Ulta Sun Pokédex, give the females all their food and can't evolve due to malnutrition. But if you are able to catch a female, Salazzle is a great addition to any team, with it's excellent ty🐻pe coverage and variety of nasty STAB moves that c𒁃ould leave your opponents poisoned or burned.
7 Delphox
Delphox is the final evolution of Gen VI's fire starter, the adorable Fennekin. As it gains levels, your cute baby fox turns into a powerful fire mage, breaking the Fire/Fighting starter streak with its dual Fire/Psychic typing. Its psychic abilities give it incredible precise control over its fire powers, and can generate a vortex of up to 5, 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Most starters end up being pretty powerful, but it's nice to have a hefty special attacker after a string of mostly physical Fighting starters. Plus, Delphox 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:does it in style.
6 🦄 Darmanitan 🔥
Darm☂anitan has an interesting gimmick; if the Darmanitan has the ability Zen Mode, it changes form when it falls below half health. Iꦫn Standard Mode, Darmanitan has a very high Attack and decent Speed, making it a dangerous opponent. When it enters Zen Mode, it boosts its Defense, Special Defense, and Special Attack, as well as gaining the Psychic type.
This makes Darmanitan a very vers♈atile combatant. Galarian Darmanitan has almost the opposite gimmick—its Standard mode is calm Ice-type, but losing half its HP throws it into a rage, giving in the Fire-type and boosting its Attack.
5 Chandelure ꧃
The Litwick lﷺine was the very first Ghost/Fire dual type, and it lives up to how cool that s🍬ounds in theory. Based on will o' the wisps, the Chandelure family lures the unwary in with its inviting light. They absorb spirits, which they use fuel to keep their lamps burning. Chandelure's fire attacks are said to leave the body untouched, but burn away a creature's spirit. That's terrifying on it's own, but Chandelure's excellent typing gives it resistances to many common types like Fire, Grass, Poison, and Steel.
4 Incineroar ൩
Incineroar is another Fire starter, this time from Gen VII, and it also evolves from a small, adorable creature (namely, a kitten). Incineroar has quickly become a favorite of many Pokémon fans. It was even added to Smash! At first glance, Incineroar looks like yet another🐻 Fire/Fighting starter. It's even based on a wrestler, so making it Fighting-type would have made sense.
But Incineroar is actual part Dark-type. Dark is considered the evil or villain type in Pokémon lore, known for dirty fighting. This is because Incineroar is specifically "the Heel Pokémon" and heels in professional wrestling are wrestlers with a𒉰 villainous persona.
3 Volcarona
Volcarona is another Bug/Fire Dark Pokémon, this time from Gen V. It's the second and final form of Larvesta. They're supposedly born from the sun and were believed to nest there by ancient people. During a long and bitter volcanic wi⛦nter, Volcarona's fire served as a replacement for the sun's light and saved the lives of many Pokémon. It's a powerful battler, with high Special Attack, Special Defense, and Speed. However, it doesn't evolve until level 59. It's al🌟so the only Pokémon line that isn't mythical or legendary to learn a move at level 100—it's , Fiery Dance.
2 Volcanion
Volcanion is the only dual type Fire/Water Pokémon that currently exists. It's a mythical Pokémon, making it that much more rare. It would seem that Fire and Water don't coexist well in the wild, even more so than 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:most opposing types. It generates steam inside its body and hides inside the dense fog, away from human civilizations. However, it has enough power to blow up a m🦹ountain if disturbed. Hopefully, the existence of one Water/Fire Pokémon paves the way for new designs to come.
1 Reshiram
Weirdly, there aren't many Dragon/Fire dual types. Dragons are known as fire-breathing monsters, and there are some Fire-types that are clearly based on dragons, like the beloved Charizard. But very few Pokémo🍃n actually have that specific typing. Which is one of the reasons Reshiram is such a cool addition to the Pokédex. Reshiram and its counterpart Zekrom are probably related to the concept of yin and yang, with Reshiram representing light and truth. Its billowing tail resembles a brazier that one could use to dis🍌pel darkness.
