This move can be learned by some of the best Fighting-type Pokémon such as Blaziken, Conkeldurr, and Machamp, but can also be learned by non﷽-Fighting-type Pokémon who are buff (Poliwrath and Incineroar being prime examples).

9 ✅ 🎃 Useless: Submission

Submission is a move that gives plenty of reasons not to use it. Not only does it have only 80% accuracy, but Submission also has the lowest Base Power of any recoil move, with only 80 BP. 6 🐬 Best: Counter

Even the cutest of🥀 Pokémon can pack quite a punch, especially if they have Counter inꦡ their moveset. If the opponent uses a Physical move on the Pokémon that turn, using Counter will deal twice the damage dealt to the Pokémon. It has 100% Accuracy and a -5 Priority, meaning that the move will always go last in battle unless the opponent uses a decreased priority move as well. Going last is crucial to how Counter operates.

Counter was only a TM in Generation I games, meaning only Generation I Pokémon could l🗹earn it via TM18. Interestingly enough, despite being a Fighti𒉰ng-type move, Ghost Pokémon are immune to Counter.

5 Useless:💎 Brick Break

To give credit where it's due, Brick Break was once a solid move relied upon by many trainers. With 75 Base Power and the ability to break through Light Screen and Reflect, Brick Break had a place within competitive play until superior moves such as Close Combat came along. Nevertheless, Brick Break is still somewhat useful due to the variety of Pokémon able to learn it via TM, leading to unpredꦑictable strategies in battle.
