For as long as there have been Blastoises and Dragonites, there have been lightning-swift Electric-type Pokemon to shock them into submission. That's what Electric Pokemon do, after all. They zap things. Often, this means dominating the field with raw speed at the expense of appreciable defense. Get in, summon a thunderbolt straight out of a Thor comic, and get out.
There aren't a whole lot of Electric critters in 168澳洲幸运✤5🌠开奖网:Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl, but the developers have made sure players still have enough options to find their own personal zap-happy pocket monster. Take a look at our picks and maybe, just maybe, you'll soon be saying hello to a new dragon-frying best friend.
Updated on May 8, 2022 by Quinton O'Connor: With the popularity of Pokemon never withering away, one hardly needs a reason to check back with important guides like these and periodically optimize them to be as helpful as possible. We've gone back and added stat tables for all our picks for easy viewing, as well as further contextualization on a couple of our choices.

We didn't choose this endearing portrait of the franchise mascot's often-overlooked evolution on a whim. Raichu has been the Luigi of Pikachu's Mario for longer than many of today's pop stars have been alive.
In Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl, Raichu doesn't have things any easier. It's part of the Sinnoh Dex, you see, which would tend to make one think it can be added to one's team during the main game. Alas, that is not the case. Pichu and Pikachu can only be found in the Trophy Garden, which only opens up to players in the post-game, leaving the entire family line disgruntled🌞 and Raichu ready to walk away entirely.
That would be unfortunate. Raichu's nice Speed stat makes it a classic Electric-type sweeper. Apart from the usual stuff (something with the wonder "Thunder" in it), Focus Blast and Swift work wonders. Double Team can make up for Raichu's sad Defense stat in a pinch. (It's defenseless because it's emotionally in turmoil.)

Magnezone is the inverse Raichu. Not in every way. Not even in most ways. We're talking about one very specific way: Raichu's in the SInnoh Dex but can't join the squad until post-game; Magnezone's in the National Dex and doesn't have that problem at all. It's almost as though Arceus and the oꦫther mythic makers of the Pokemon universe are quietly chuckl🙈ing at Raichu from afꩵar.
Electric/Steel is an interesting type combination. Fire and Fighting moves hit it where it hurts, and Ground moves are guaranteed to leave it hanging by a thread. If Magnezone has the Analytic ability, it does 130 percent more damage to its opponent so long as it goes last in the round order. This could have been useless, had Magnezone's Speed stat not been useless, but wജith a base of 60, almost everything that takes on his magnetic monstrosity will be faster.
Defense and Special Attack are where Magnezone shines, so you can lean on that with Iron Defense, a move that will up the stat by two stages. Thunderbolt and Flash Cannon are excellent for STAB (Same Type Attack Bonus).

Shinx is easy to find if you know 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:where to look, and it evolves into Luxio and finally Luxray at relatively early levels. Luxray is likely Pokemon BDSP's Electric-type star, given that it's the final evolution of a common line of lightning-fanged creatures seen all throughout the Sinnoh region. Its Attack is its sterling stat, so you'll want to avoid giving it Thunderbolt and other moves based on the Special Attack stat.
Wild Charge, Crunch, and Thunder Wave all come highly-recommended. If you're willing to give it a permanent Burn, equip it with a Flame Orb and add Facade to its arsenal — Luxray can then wreak havoc with what becomes a 140 base power Normal-type attack! Just don't rely on that in normal battles, or you'll be healing the poor lion a ton; its HP, while respectable, is hardly worth writing home about.

We know, we know. Pachirisu isn't going to win you the Pokemon League. Or pretty much any significant battle. Or any number of insignificant ones.
Pachirisu's a gem for an entirely different reason. Its Pickup ability is secretly the best thing ever. WIth a Pachirisu in your team, you're bound to bump into all sorts of items during your travels. Many of these items are quite hard to find otherwise, or even downright limited through any other venue. Rare Candy, Evolution Stones, Vitamins? If you can name it, there's a pretty strong chance Pachirisu can find it.
If you're ever in the mood for a late-night stroll down scenic Sinnoh's countryside, bring six Pachirisus. By the time you're ready for bed, you might just be swimming in treasure. If that's not the kind of promise that wins this little guy a spot on a "Best Electric Pokemon in Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl" list, that's just tragic.

Electivire is a🅘 fantastic addition to just about any team. Scholarly sorts like to call it a "mixed wallbreaker," which is correct, but we tend to just think of it as a neat-looking black-and-yellow beast that probably has a few spare USB ports on its back in case you need to charge your ൩phone at night.
None of Electivire's stats are bad, which is always good news. Oftentimes, that foretells the likelihood that none of a Pokemon's stats are good; but in Electivire's case, its high Special Attack and Speed, not to mention its even higher Attack, makes it stand out from the rest of the pack. You can rely on this guy with Thunderbolt, Flamethrower, Earthquake, pretty much anything to suit your needs. Even Ice Punch can work like a charm if there's no better Pokemon for it in your party.

Rotom has had an... interesting life. When Diamond & Pearl launched for Nintendo DS in 2006, the internet was rife with complaints that Game Freak jumped the shark; here was a Pokemon that can transform into a lawnmower, a refrigerator, a microwave oven, an electric fan, and even a washing machine. It was so unlike anything we'd seen before, and it pushed a lot of people's buttons.
Personally, we wonder if folks were just jealous that they can't turn into washing machines, but that's neither here nor there.
What makes Rotom so fabulous in Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl is that its versatility is unparalleled. We don't use the word "unparalleled" lightly here. In its default form, Rotom is an Electric/Ghost-type Pokemon. But it's capable of so much more — Electric/Fire, Electric/Water, Electric/Ice, Electric/Flying, even Electric/Grass.
Of them all, Rotom-Wash (Electric/Water) and Rotom-Heat (Electric/Fire) get far and away the most use in competitive play, but it's worth experimenting with them all. No matter which form it's in, Rotom's strong Special Attack makes it prime for plenty of the game's best attacks — and you've got yourself one of the best Electric Pokemon in Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl.
