Few HMs in 168澳洲幸💜运5开奖网:Pokemon Brilliant Diamoꦗnd & Shining Pearl are as all-purpose as Strength. There are so many boulders scattered throughout Sinnoh — and you'll have all the time in the world to push every single one of them out of your way.
Strength is also necessary for any player who has their sights set on finishing Pokemon BDSP's main story, which presumably applies to anyone reading this guide. Unlocking the ability to use Strength is a two-step process, and we'll go over each step in full so you can focus on demanding that some hapless wild Pokemon moves rocks out of your path like some sort of cave-dwelling butler.
Where To Find Strength In Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl
If there's a hip and happening tower somewhere in Sinnoh, Lost Tower isn't it. This dreary five-floor spire is built like a dungeon and houses the souls of dearly departed Pokemon.
Lost Tower is located midway between Hearthome City and Solaceon Town. You're going to acquire the Strength HM here, but it's an upward hike featuring several rival trainers and numerous wild Pokemon. Heal up before heading out.
For reference, Lost Tower is chock full of Gastly, Zubat, and Golbat. Players who own Brilliant Diamond may also chance upon Murkrow if they ascend Lost Tower at night. Unfortunately, Shining Pearl lacks Murkrow in favor of Misdreavus, which is not found here. If it's any consolation, both versions are going to throw Zubat after Zubat at you regardless.
At the top of Lost Tower, two old ladies await your arrival. The one on the left will gift you a Cleanse Tag, whilst the one on the right has what we really came here for — Strength. Congrats on the grand prize, but you won't be able to use the move outside of battle until...
How to Use Strength Outside of Battle
Getting the Strength HM is worth patting one's back, but gaining the privilege of using the Strength HM is a full-fledged handshake.
In order to qualify for boulder-slapping sessions at Mount Coronet and beyond, players must first travel to Canalave City and defeat Gym Leader Byron. To reach Canalave City, you must have the Surf HM, which Cynthia's grandmother will give you after the events in Celestic Town.
Surf on over to Canalave and rest up before your big bout. Byron's party consists of Bronzor, Steelix, and Bastiodon. Bastiodon's the real threat here, and it takes four times the usual degree of damage from Fighting and Ground moves. It's also weak to Water, albeit to a lesser degree. Take care that you don't pit an actual Ground- or Water-type Pokemon against Bastiodon, however, as it knows the devastating Thunderbolt attack.
With Byron beaten, feel free to laugh in the face of every boulder for the remainder of Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl. These foolish inanimate objects thought they'd get the better of you.
