Since you can't control which Pokemon will queue up in line to get food at your cafe, it can be difficult to focus on getting closer to a specific Pokemon at any given time.
You'll eventually unlock the Pelipper bell to randomly select two Pokemon to invite to a party, but you don't just get to ring it until you get two you like, unless you're willing to pay up with golden acorns. You can refresh it once on the house, and after that, you're on your own. On the bright side, the two Pokemon invited to this party will eat together and both of their friendship 🎃levels will go up at the same time, making it much more efficient than serving solo customers. They'll eat two menu items together, provided you don't fail to complete either of ♌them, and the second meal is even an opportunity to get bonus stars!
If you want to check your Pokemon's friendship levels, you can tap the Owner's Menu (the small menu icon in the bottom left corner) and click into the Pokemon list. You'll be🍸 able to examine progress on both staff and non-staff Pokemon, as well as preview their current and future stats, giving you a better idea of how their assistance works during puzzles.
