Fire Blast or Flamethrower still remain as its best STAB options, along with Solar Beam and Air Slash for coverage. Roost can be risky on a Pokémon with average Speed like Charizard, bu🎃ꦯt can be a game-changer in the right situations.
7 🌠 🉐 AWFUL: Screens and Statuses
Charizard is usually pictured as a rough-and-t𓄧ough heavy-hitter, and not a Pokémon fit for assisting other Pokémon from the sidelines. Well,🅠 Charizard actually has some interesting moves that break away from his usual archetype, like Reflect and Toxic.
While these moves are amazing when put on the right Pokémon, Charizard simply isn't able to make the best use of them. This is mainly due to it lacking the Speed needed to get them out before the opponent acts, as well as the bulk to soak up incoming damage, in which they lose a lot of their꧟ utility.

Charizard can utilize both Choice Scarf and Choice Specs very well, and the choice of Speed or Sp. Atk depends on personal pr⛄eference. As a speedier Pokémon, Charizaꦆrd has an easier time getting KOs and using status moves, and with a Sp. Atk boost it can obliterate foes with STAB moves such as Overheat and Blast Burn.

Starter Pokémon have the unfortunate tendency to lose the abi💎lity lottery, as they're meant to teach newer players the bas✤ics of the game's mechanics and aren't usually suitable for competition until Hidden Abilities are obtained.

Charizard isn't bulky enough to be consistently surviving at such a low HP threshold, and this ability will end ไup going to waste more often than not.

This item greatly increases the viability of more fragile Pokémon like Pikachu but is also a great choice on Charizard. With the Sp. Atk boost from Solar Power and max IV's in Sp.
