Pokemon is currently in a good place as its most recent mainline releases of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pokemon Sword & Shield are se๊lling well. Fans have been happy with the direction of the series now despite the backlash regarding the National Pokédex in the Galar region.
Its first DLC, the Isle of Armor was met with decent reviews, but its latest release titled 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Crown Tundra seems to be fulfilling fan's desires and is doing well critically. Let's now take a l꧋ook at the new Pokemon👍 it added to the mix, including evolutions and regional forms to fan favorites.
10 Hoenn Star🦹ters
These 9 Pokémon may not be new, but it's good to see the starter Pokemon and their evolutions from the Hoenn region make their way into the Galarian National Pokedex. Treecko, Torchic, and Mudkip are some strong candidates as fan favorites and it's a shame they weren't in the base game. Pokemon Sword & Shield faced 🍎a lot of backlash near the release of the games due to the exclusion of hundreds of Pokémon from the National Pokédex. It's still a hot button community issue that's brought up in fan forums weekly.
9 Galarian Slowking 💖 🅰
Thanks to the first DLC, Isle of Armor, trainers werಌe already familiar with Galarian Slowpoke and had their chance at acquiring a Galarian Slowbro via evolution. With the Crown Tundra fans now gained the ability to turn their Galarian Slowboke into the fearsome and terrifying Galarian Slowking. It ditches its regal nature for a dark magical presence. All you need to do is acquire a new wreath item by trading a woman 15 twigs, the items you had to acquire to evolve your Galarian Slowpoke in the Isle of Armor DLC.
8 Regieleki
When Regice, Regirock, and Registeel were unveiled in the 3rd generation of Pokemon games fans were curious about what they meant♔ moving forward. Some speculated if the franchise would introduce a "Regi" of each type over the generations.
It may have taken 5 generations of games, but Regieleki is finally the payoff of that assumption. The Electric-type "Regi" can be acquired by taking the original 3 to a specific ruin in the Crown Tundra. Here you'll get your chance to add another "Regi" to your💎 growing collection.
7 Regidrago
Regidrago is of course 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the Dragon-type version of the "Regi" line of Pokemon and can be acquired exactly like the other new addition, Regieleki, can be in the DLC. It has its own unique and signature ability called Dragon's Maw which powers up Dragon-type moves. Pairing this with its maxed-out health base stat makes it a tough opponent for whoever it's facing. Its body looks like it's comprised of the head of a once giant and fearsome dragon, bᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚut now makes up the limbs of the Dragon Orb Pokemon.
6 🍒 Galarian Moltre𓄧s
Originally Moltres was often the most overlooked of the 3 Kanto legendary birds and was the subject of many jokes. With the new Galarian form it seems that Moltres was on the receiving end of the greatest glow up. Its Galarian form is known as the Malevolent Pokemon, and the once red and yellow Fire/Flying dual-type now occupies the skies 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:with the Dark-type, ditching the fire. Design-wise it is noღw a vibrant crimson pink and black and is easily one of the cooler designs in theꩵ entire franchise. Talk about a real turnaround.
5 𒈔 Galarian Zapdos 🎀
Zapdos was considered by most fans to be the coolest design of the original 3 Kanto legendary birds. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:As a Flying and Electric-type, it captivated the interests of kids across the globe. Its new Galarian form ditches the electricity for the Fighting-ty🧔pe and its new design is rather divisive. It now looks as though Zapdos is a combination of Doduo and Moltres, two Pokemon fans aren't exactly huge fans of. Since Zapdos was so beloved the designers must have known they would be fighting an uphill battle no matter what they went with.
4 ܫ Galarian Articuno ⛦
We've already covered the other two Kanto legendary birds and their new Galarian forms, but we may have saved the best for last. Normally, Articuno is an Ice and Flying-type, but in the Galar regi🌟on, it trades that Ice-type for Psychic-type instead.
Its new design i🥃s arguably the best of the three as the light blue majestic bird now looks like a trained predator sporting a body of violet feathers with bold black accents. It's now known as the Cruel Pokemon which may tell you all you need to know about its new persona.
3 Spectrier
Spec𒁃trier is one of two legendary horse-like Pokemon introduced in Pokemon Sword & Shield's Crown Tundra DLC. It is solely a Ghost-type Pokemon that has incredible speed and special attack capabilities. The story only allows trainers to catch one of the two horses, so the choice will be a difficult one. You can't go wrong with either, but the look and feel of a ghostly specter as a steed seems much cooler than one covered in ice. It also doesn't hurt that Spectrier is completely black with its mane being a rich royal purple.
2 Glastrier
Out of the two horse-like Pokemon attached historically to Calyrex, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:it is the Ice-type that packs a powerful physical attack and defense. This is evident in its base stats, which also show its pri𒊎mary weakness being its speed which is understandable considering its Ice-typing. Its ability titled Chilling Neigh makes it so its attack is boosted when it knocks out an opponent. Glastrier is best used in battles featuring opponents with a larger roster of Pokemon in their party as the icy horse gets more powerful as it strings together knockouts.
1 Calyrex
Calyrex is the latest mythical Pokemon in the franchise and was once the king who ruled over the Galar region. It's been teased ever since the DLC was announced for Pokemon Sword & Shield and fa🌺ns had been dying to learn more about it. In terms of typing, it has both the Psychic and Grass-type and stands at a height of around 3 feet. It was known for being merciful and would go out of its way to heal those it battled after the altercation was over. Thankfully trainersဣ will have a chance to catch the King Pokemon simply by playing through the story.
