Often described as the strongest 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pokemon League Champion in the series, even when compared to the apparently "undefeatable" Leon, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Cynthia's team composition in the original Sinnoh titles reflects her status as a powerful trainer. She has a well-balanced team that is topped off by one of the most terrifying 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dragon-types in the series, Garchomp.
While her debut region is where most players will recognize her team ꩲfrom, Cynthia has reappeared in the series multiple times, each instance with a slightly different team composition. That being said, not all of her Pokemon are equally as powerful and severa🌳l could have been left out entirely to make her team more powerful.
10 Glaceon
While the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Eeveelutions tend to get a lot of love for being cute and powerful at the same time, Glaceon suffe𝔉rs the same fate as every other Ice-type in the series. It is bad both defensively and offensively against a large number of other types.
First appearing in Cynthia's 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Black 2 & White 2 team, her Glaceon has some fairly decent moves with Shadow Ball, Signal Beam, Barrier, and Ice Beam. However, this diverse moveset isn't enough to elevate Glaceon above other 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Ice-types and it is fairly easy to take down with one well-placed 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Fire-type attack.
9 🐷 Eelektross
Eelektross is yet another unfortunate case of the franchise trying something different with an 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Electric-type Pokemon that doesn't quite 🅘work out. While it has great offensive stats and the Levitate ability to ensure it is never hit with a super-effective Ground-type attack, Eelektross lacks the speed that most other Electric-type Pokemon have that gives them an edge in battle.
Cynthia's Eelektross, which appears in Black & White, has a fairly good moveset with Flamethrower, Wild Charge, Crunch, and Dragon Claw, but it is walled entirely by most decent 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Ground-type Pokemon.
8 Spiritomb
Spritomb was, at one point, a very annoying Pokemon to deal with. Like Eelektross, Spritomb is unique in that its type combination means that it has no weaknesses, at least until the introduction of the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Fairy-type in Kalos. While Cynthia's Spiritomb is irritating to try and defeat thanks to it having no wea🌠kness, its lack of offensive threat makes it a mere bump in the road.
In Platinum, Spiritomb has the likes of Psychic, Dark Pulse, Ominous Wind, and Silv✃er Wind at its disposal. However, in subsequent appearances, its moveset is much more geared towards its annoying nature, with Will-o-Wisp, Double Team, Hypnosis, and Dream Eater among other common annoying moves that don't deal all that much damage.
7 Roserade
While Roserade has the unfortunate distinction of always having to be compared to the arguably superior Venusaur due to its Grass and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Poison-type combination, Cynಞthia's Pokemon manages to be just enough of a threat to challenge this notion.
Aside from being fairly fast and hitting rather hard, Roserade h🃏as moves Shadow Ball and Extrasensory as coverage, the latter of which allowing it to break through Poison-types that may try to wall it. In Unova, Roserade also gains Leaf Storm, a very powerful Grass-type attack, and Sleep Powder to make it even more annoying.
6 Gastrodon
While Gastrodon at first glance seems✨ like a fairly weak Pokಌemon, this Water and Ground-type has managed to leave an impact that is still being felt in generation eight. Its type combination makes it great at both defense and offense.
Cynthia's Gastrodon, which only appears in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Diamond & Pearl, is a much more offensive threat with the likes of Muddy Water, Earthquake, Sludge Bomb, and Stone Edge at its disp💖osal. Thankfully, Cy𝔍nthia didn't have the foresight to teach her Gastrodon Recover, but this doesn't make it any easier to take down.
5 Braviary
Introduced to her team in Black & White, Braviary is just as terrifying on Cynthia's team as it is to face in 𒆙online battles. While none of its attacks are able to take advantage of its Sheer Force ability, Braviary does have some very powerful moves in Shadow Claw, Crush Claw, Brave Bird and Retaliate.
Retaliate is a particularly nasty attack, as it is a Normal-type move that doubles in power if a teammate fainted on the previous turn, making it effectively a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Giga Impact that doesn't have a cool-down turn. Both Crush Claw and𝔍 Shadow Claw also💮 have a high chance to critical hit, meaning they are likely to deal significant damage when used as well.
4 Togekiss
Togekiss may be very different today from how it was used in its debut generation, but that doesn't make it any less threatening. Appearing on various teams across Platinum, Black 2 & Whiౠte 2, and Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, its moveset has changed multiple times, t🉐hough each time it gets steadily more powerful.
Togekiss's most powerful iteration comes in Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, where it not only has the Serene Grace ability, but also the Thunder Wave and Air Slash combination that makes it nearly impossible to land an attack if pulled off. These moves are also rounded out with Shadow Ball and Grass Knot, giving it some coverage t𒆙o just about every type that would resist Air Slash.
3 Milotic
While Cynthia may not have taught her Gastrodon any healing moves, she didn't make the same mistake with her Milotic, which is arguably just as bulky and difficult to defeat. Appearing in nearly all of her teams, Milotic's moves usually include Water and Ice-type attacks like Hydro Pump or Ice Beam, wi♍th the remaining two slots being used either for coverage with Bulldoze and Dragon Tail or support moves like Attract and Rest.
Cynthia's most dangerous Milotic, however, is the one from Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon where she finally taught it Recover, making it nearly impossible to take down without a Z-Move.
2 Lucario
What Lucario lacks in defenses, especially after🐻 the change in type resistances that came with Pokemon X & Y, it more than makes up for with its speed and damage output. Even in its debut appearance, Lucario had a wide range of moves including Psychic, Aura Sphere, Earthquake, and Dragon Pulse.
In later generations, Lucario addeꦦd moves like Extreme Speed, Flash Cannon, Stone Edge, and Blaze Kick to ensure it was always hitting the opponent for, at minimum, neutral 🐠damage.
1 Garchomp
As the signature Pokemon of Cynthia, it should be no surprise that her Garchomp is the strongest fighter in all of her teams. Aside from having the high stats of a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:pseudo legendary Pokemon that makes it incredibly hard𒁏 to take down, Garchomp's moveset is generally very good and is able to cover its most common weak points, such as Ice, Steel, and Dragon-types.
What may be most terrif🌼ying about Garchomp, particularly in the generation four games, is that it has the move Giga Impact, which can very 👍easily defeat a player's Pokemon in one blow.
