There are many different protagonists in the Pokémon world. It all started with Pokémon Red and Blue where you controlled the one and only Red. Red seemed to achieve the best of the Pokémon world had to offer and achieved master status, which is why he's been 💯the flagship protagonist for the longest time.

From there, the second generation was released and subsequent ones added even more with even higher accomplishments than even Red. Looking back, some of the better protagonists were the ones who eventually beat Red's records and also saved the world instead of just their home region. So without further delay, here are all of the Pokémon game protagonists, ranked from weakest to best.

13 Wes (Pokémon Colosseum) ♏ 𝕴

Wes is the protagonist of the Gamecube game 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pokémon Colosseum, the one where you catch shadow Pokémon and essentially st🌠eal them from thugs and abusive minded൲ trainers.

Even though his Robin Hood-esque acts are noble, he gets a lot of help from Resistance members, which takes some of his badass points away. His biggest accomplishment is taming the three Legendary Beasts (Raikou, Suicune, and Entei) and defeating an Elite 4-like syndicate of bad guys. Cool as that sounds, that's really just standard fare for most Pokémon main characters.

12 Michael (Pokémon XD: Gale Of ൲Darkness) 🌱

Micheal is the protagonist of the second in the 3D Gamecube series XD: Gale of Darkness. Michael essentially goes through the same thing as Wes, but on his own ꦦmaking this accomplishment much bigger.

What gives him t𝕴he advantage, is that he caught, trained, and purified Shadow Lugia (who is much stronger than the Legendary Beasts). That's a better achievement than whatever Wes went through.

11 Gloria & Victoria (𒅌Pokémon Sword 🍌& Shield)

Gloria and Victoria are the heroes of Sword and Shield. Victor and Gloria go through the standard Pokémon 🐠fair but with the pressures of always being on the big stage when they have an importan൲t fight.

They were able to beat a tournament of rivals they fought before to get to the champion, which made predicting their Pokémon much easier than fighting an Elite 4. Their bad guy-beating abilities were l𓂃imited to just two actually tougher bosses rather than a whole organization, so it's a feat that's not too impressive. However𝔉, they were also able to master Giga-maxing and Dyna-maxing so that counts for something.

10 Leaf (Pokémon FireRed & LeafGree𒅌n)

Leif is the female counterpart to Red in the early Pokémon games, so her accomplishments are pretty much the sa🦹me as his. Though in some versions, she is a different character entirely, since she is the player equivalent who defeated Team Rocket, Gary⛦, and caught Mewtwo.

What puts her under is she does not share that same secondary story in Gold/Silver whe꧑re her Pokémon are much stronger, implying she made it to that level Red did. It wouldn't be surprising if she did in fact surpass him.

9 🌳 Red (Var😼ious)

Everyone already knows Red's story or played through it but in comparison to others o♎n this list, it might as well be basic stuff. He did not save the worldℱ but only his home region from some below average grunts with a strong boss. It doesn't help that said boss was already someone he needed to beat anyways to get to his goal.

What actually bumps him up the list is the fact that he completed the Pokedex and obtained a stronger level in his Pokémon later on, which is one of the greatest challenges in all of Pokémon.

8 🅘 Hilbert & Hilda (Pokémon Black & White)

Hilbert and Hilda are the protagonist of Black and White. They take the whole "Taking down an evil regional mafia" thing to the next level by also catching a godlike legendary to do so, as well as taking down N as the champion. No🧸w that's dedication𓃲!

They were also able to master the 3-way battle, which is something that no other proไtagonist had to face.

7 Chase & Elaine (Pokémon: Let's Go! Pikcahu &am🔥p; Let's Go! Evee)

Chase and Elaine are the protagonist of the Let's Go games. Their accomplishments are pretty much the same as Red's, but now with the added masterꦚy of the Mega evolution which can turn the cutest Pokémon into a Kaiju.

The two go through🎉 many of the same steps that Red did such as defeating Blue, the Elite 4, Team Rocket, and catching Mewtwo, but this time with an overpowered Pikachu or Eevee to help them out.

6 𒁃 Ethan & Lyra (Pokemon HeartGold & SoulSilver) ꧙

Ethan and Lyra went through the same things Red wཧent through, such as defeating Team Rocket, showing Red actually did little to stop them. Overall, Ethan and Lyra finish off Team Rocket but they take it up a notch when they also beat Red by the end.

Add to this that they win two regional championships with a much harder gym challenge and Elite 🌄4, and they've definitely surpassed Red.

5 🌳 Calem & Serena (Pokémon X& Y) ꦕ

This entry marks the start of the list's cataloging of protagonists who save the earth from an apocalypse-level event. Added to the standard fare of the Pokémon series, Calem and Serena have to stop the entirety of humanity from being wiped out by꧂ a psychotic bad guy looking to purify the planet.

While this is happening, the players also have to busy themselves with catching the title legendary to do it, sp𝓰ecifically one that is an apocalypse creature in of itself.

4 Brendan & May (Pokémon Emerald, Ruby & Saph𒈔ire)

Brendan and May are put in between a war of two rival teams they must conquer: Team Aqua and Team Magma. Throughout their journey, they master Mega Evolution🎉 and Primal forms of the respective box art legendaries.

Even in the post-game, they are not done yet with defeating the Battle Frontier and saving the plan♛et from a space meteor that will wipe out Earth. Said meteor turns out to be a level 70 Deoxys that they defeat and catch. Add the fact that they also had to defeat the Elite 4 and it goes without saying that they had to go through a lot just to finish their journey.
