There are over a thousand Pokemon through nine different generations, based on all matter of creature, object, or mythical being. But only a select few of these Pocket Monsters have more than one head. Multi-headed Pokemon don't appear in all generations either, as no Pokemon introduced in the third generation has more than one head.

Including regional variants, which still count as part of the same species as the original Pokemon, there are currently thirteen multi-headed Pokemon. Still, understandably, some multi-headed Pokemon are be🔜tter than others due to various factors, including appearance, type, regional forms, and plenty of other things.

13 Binacle

Known as the Two-handed Pokemon because its two heads are hands with faces on them, Binacle is a dual Rock and Water type, a type combination that has been do꧑ne many times before, even in the first generation Pokemon games. This often forgotten sixth-generation Pokemon is rather unremarkable and honestly sort of weird looking.

It doesn't have the same allure as many other multi-headed Pokemon have, yet it isn't completely hideous either. Binacle just exists, and it would likely be hard to find someone who considers it their favorite Pokemon - though Pokemon anime musician Tomoaki Imakuni cited it as his favorite.

12 Cherubi

The Grass-type cherry Pokemon Cherubi may be adorable, but its second head is unnecessary, at least visually. While Cherubi's second head doesn't do much physically, it provides it with the nutrients it needs to evolve into Cherrim when it is ready, so at least it still has a vital function despite looking weird.

Cherubi's smaller head also causes it to be chased by bird Pokemon like Starly due to its immensely sweet taste. Maybe in the future, a regional form of Cherubi will either lose the second head or have two heads of the same size instead, improving its odds of survival.

11 Combee

The Tiny Bee Pokemon Combee is a three-headed Bug-type Pokemon primarily known for the honey it produces, ꦐcommonly sold in stores in the Sinnoh region. Even though Combee is based on real-life bees, they seemingly lack stingers and will run away when faced with any threat.

Only female Combee can evolve into Vespiquen, while male Combee cannot evolve. Despite their lack of stingers and relatively harmless nature, Combee will do whatever they can to protect a Vespiquen if she feels threatened, eliminating the threat in any way they can. Combee may not be as notable as other multi-headed Pokemon, but don't let their cuteness fool you, as they're downright deadly in certain situations.

10 Zweilous

The two-headed evolved form of Deino, Zweilous is a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:dual Dark and Dragon-type known as the Hostile Pokemon. Zweilous' epithet comes from the fact that its two heads don't get along and are constantly competing with each other.

You would think the heads not working together would cause Zweilous to starve, but it's actually the opposite and usually causes it to end up overeating. However, whichever head ate the most becomes the leader. While interesting in theory, Zweilous is worse than its pre-evolved and evolved forms in design and function, so It's hard to rank it higher than many other multi-headed Pokemon.

9 Exeggcute

The dual-type Grass and Psychic Egg Pokemon Exeggcute is a strangely sentient group of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:six egg-like creatures, although they have been revealed to be more similar to plant seeds. The six "eggs" that Exeggcute consists of can communicate 🐼with each other telepathically, so they can always find each other if they happen to be sepa🐷rated.

If the "eggs" that form Exeggcute do become separated somehow, they will become anxious and are more likely to flee from any perceived threats until they can find the others. Exeggcute may not be the only multi-headed Pokemon introduced in the first generation, but it's definitely the weirdest.

8 Dugtrio

dugtrio & alolan form

Dugtrio, ꦚthe evolved form of Diglett, is a Ground-type Pokemon that is actually three Digletts sharing one unseen body. Unlike Zweilous, all the heads think the same way, which allows them to cooperate efficiently. Due to how fast Dugtrio can dig, it can cause powerful earthquakes.

The 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Alolan variant of Dugtrio gains a Steel typing and blonde hair on each head, which are actually heavy metallic whiskers that can sense vibrations. Alolan Dugtrio is also worshipped as a deity by some. There is a superstition that their fallen "hairs" are a sign of bad luck, increasing its significance even if it's just a superstition.

7 Magneton

The dual type Electric and Steel Magnet Pokemon and evolved form of Magnemite, Magneton consists of three connected Magnemite. Magneton can disrupt radio waves, perma😼nently break electronic devices, raise the temperature by exactly 3.6°F, dry all moisture around it, and cause earaches for anyone who gets too close to it.

The side effects of Magneton's abilities are so intense that some cities even have sirens to warn people of outbreaks. Despite having three separate heads, Magneton only has one brain but does not have increased intelligence. If it did, it would probably be able to dull these abilities that help make it one of the most notable multi-headed Pokemon.

6 Dodrio

The Triple Bird Pokemon and three-headed evolution of Doduo, Dodrio's heads may often bicker but are intelligent enough to know when to stop. While the three heads can combine their brain power, they won't be able to move if they think too much, revealing a significant weakness.

Dodrio can run long distances without resting, so it's best not to aggravate one. Drodrio also has three hearts and three pairs of lungs but only one stomach, so only one head needs to eat. For some reason, possibly because of its extra head, Dodrio is slower than Doduo despite being more powerful overall.

5 Doduo

The seemingly flightless Twin Bird Pokemon Doduo is a Normal and Flying-type Pokemon with two heads. While it is capable of flight, it doesn't do it very well but is a fast runner due to its legs. Similar to Dugtrio, both heads think the same way, although this is due to them usually having identical brains.

Because the two heads c🐎an get along so well, they can♈ take turns when they are eating or sleeping, so the other head will look out for danger. Doduo may not be the most noteworthy multi-headed Pokemon, but its appearance helps make it memorable.

4 Girafarig

The only multi-headed Pokemon in the second generation, Girafarig is a Normal and Psychic-type Pokemon with a second head on its tail. Unlike some other multi-headed Pokemon, Girafarig's second head cannot think independently but does not require sleep and can warn the main head of any incoming threats.

Girafarig has only had some minor appearances in the anime series, but to be fair, its Pokedex entries in the games don't give much to go off. Girafarig has never gotten the attention it deserves as one of the most interesting multi-headed Pokemon.
