Over the years, there have been quite a few different evolution methods introduced to the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pokémon franchise. One of the original methods involves the use of evolutionary stones. These strange, mysterious gems and rocks seem to induce evolution in certain Pokémon and many players have used that to their advantage. Originally, there were five — Thunder Stones, Fire Stones, Leaf Stones, Moon Stones, and Water Stones — but many more have been introduced in later generations including Dawn stonꦏe, Dusk stone, Sun stone, and many more other fascinating stones!

The Leaf Stone, one of the originals, evolves a number of when they are exposed to it, spanning across several generations. Here are all of them, in no particula♈r order.

6 Gloom

Level up an Oddish to level 21 and you'll find it evolving into the Grass/Poison-type Pokémon Gloom. Initially, Gloom would evolve into Vileplume when exposed to a Leaf Stone, making one of the 𓃲first few Pokémon to utilize an evolutionary stone.

In Generation II, Gloom was given a second evolution branch. Expose it to a Sun Stone and it'll become a Bellossom, dropping the Poison-typing to be pure-Grass — the only time in the entire franchise that a Pokémon l🀅oses a type when it evolves and becomes a single type. Two different stones will grant you two different evolutions. Fun!

5 Weepinbell ✱

Joining Gloom in Generation I 🐠is Weepinbell, which evolves from Bellsprout at level 21, much like Oddish.🉐 Also like the Oddish family, Weepinbell will evolve into its final form, Victreebel, when exposed to a Leaf Stone. The two are often considered counterparts to one another. They're both three-stage Grass/Poison-type lines that evolve in the same way both times.

Interestingly, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the leaked G🧸old & Silver Beta data shows that Weepinbell may have received a branched evolution in Generation II as well, keeping itself as a counterpart to the Gloom family. The Poison Stone would have given Weepinbell an alternate evolution,ܫ but it never came to fruition. As it stands now, Weepinbell can only evolve🐲 into Victreebel, utilizing that Leaf Stone.

4 Eevee

Long-time fans of the series may wonder why Eevee is on this list. We all know it'll evolve into Flareon, Jolteon, or Vaporeon when exposed to a Fire, Thunder, 𒁏or Water Stone. But, in Generation IV, Eevee was given two new evolutions that evolve when leveling it up near a Moss or Ice Rock. These new evolutions were Leafeon, a Grass-type obtained when Eevee levels up near the Moss Rock, and Glaceon, which occurs when Eevee is leveled up near an Ice Ro🐠ck.

In Generation VIII, it seems like the game's developers got tired of including one of these rocks in every region to ensure Eevee could evolve, so they made it possible for Eevee to evolve into Leafeon when exposed to a Leaf Stone. This is much simpler. Additionally, Eevee can now evolve into Glaceon when exposed to an Ice Stone, which was initially introduced to evolve Alolan Vulpix and Alolan Sandshr𝔍ew.

3 Nuzleaf

Like Weepinbell and Gloom, the Seedot and Lotad families are also seen as counterparts to one another. Seedot is usually exclusive to one game in a pair (Ruby, etc), while Lotad is found in the opposite game (Sapphire, etc). Both also evolve once at level 14, and then again wi💙th an evolutionary stone.

Seedot will evolve into Nuzleaf, which then evolves into the Grass/Dark-type Shiftry when exposed to a Leaf Stone. This is also par🍷t of what makes it a counterpart from the Lotad family. Lotad's evolution, Lombre, will evolve into its final stage, Ludicolo, with a Water Stone.

2 Pansage

In Generation V, the game developers introduced three Pokémon that would go on to be some of the m🐻ost hated in history. These three Pokémon are what fans call the "elemental monkeys," Pansage, Panpour, and Pansear. These monkeys each evolve with one of the original evolutionary stᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚones.

Taking an evolution from the Leaf Stone is Pansage, which will evolve into Simisage when exposed to one. In Black & White, the player is given the elemental monkey that corresponds with their starter Pokémon's weakness. The evolutionary stones are available pretty early, too, meaning you'll a🍸t least have access to a decent evolved Pokémon from basically the start of the game. You'll find a Leaf Stone in Castelia or on Route 6.

1 Exeggcute

Joining Gloom and Weepinbell in Generation I is Exeggcute, which will also evolve when exposed to a Leaf Stone. After evolving, Exeggcute will then be Exeggutor, a popular and powerfu⛎l Grass/Psychic-type that many were fond of in the first generation.

With its new Alolan form introduced in Generation VII, Exeggutor retains the same evolution method. Any Exeggcute that is exposed to a Leaf Stone within the Alola region will evolve into168澳洲幸运5开奖网: the super-tall Alolan Exeggutor, a Grass/D꧂𒊎ragon-type. If you want the old Kantonian Exeggutor in the Alola region, you'll need to import it from another game.
