168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pokémon Ruby & Sapphire brought tons of new Pokémon, but some of them are some of the most difficult to find in all of the series. Alongside a whole new list of legendaries, this game introduces tons of Pokémon with low encounter rates that you could spend ages trying to find, making it one of the hardest games for Pokémon completionists.
Some of them are better than others, though, and only a few are worth your time. If you’re playing these old games and want to put your time into finding something especially rare, these are the Pokémon from Hoenn you should bother h🔜unting down.
10 Slakoth
Many of the rarer Pokémon of this generation are available quite early on, and Slakoth is one of the prime examples. This sluggish sloth is available right in Petalburg 🙈Woods, with a challenging five percent encounter rate that will likely feel longer due to 💙the mass of unpleasant bugs you’ll find instead most of the time.
This sloth is available only in this one locati🍨on, and is the only way to get the massive Slaking that it evolves into. Its Truant ability might make it unable to attack every other turn, but its stats are exceptionally high and can easily survive the turns it can’t strike. It’s awkward, but definitely one of the most powerful Pokémon you can have in your playthrough.
9 Relicanth
Relicanth has a large number of places it can spawn, nearly all of them b𝐆eing underwater in the great oceans of Hoenn, but your odds of finding it are still quite slim at five percent. As a result, you’ll need to make your way through
The Pokémon isn’t necessarily the most powerful, but you’ll need it in your party to enter the rooms that contain the one-of-a-kind legendaries Regirock, Regi🔜ce, and Registeel. Relicanth itself isn’t special, but getting these powerful Pokémon are a great reward for your underwater hunting.
8 Skitty
Skitty is a relatively simple Pokémon, with very low stats and an unexciting Normal-typing. At the time of its debut, though, it was one of only a few adorable cats in the game, making it a valuable Pokémon to have to show off to 🌠your friends and keep in your collection.
To find it, you just have to look through Route 116, and it’ll show up in fꩵive percent of all encounters in𓆏 the grass. It’s not the hardest to find, but if you value cute Pokémon or have a Moon Stone to evolve it into , it’s an adorable and lovely Pokémon to put some time into hunting.
7 Kecleon
If you haven’t done much hunting in the wild grass of Hoenn, it might surpri🦋se you to learn that Kecleon is available in the wild. Most players will encounter it in the o𝄹verworld and have to battle it to get it out of your way, but it’s also able to spawn in the grass throughout Routes 118, 119, and 120.
It also has an encounter rate of five percent, meaning if you fail to catch it in your event battles it’s not th𒈔e most difficult to find. It’ll certainly take some time, but it’s plenty possible to get a Kecleon besides interacting with one that blocks your path.
6 Volbeat and I🍌llumise
These Pokémon seem like they’d be version exclusives, as they’re relatively similar-looking creatures with color palettes that match Pokémon Ruby & Sapphire. Surprisingly, Volbeat and Illumise are available in both games, but with the opposite-colored one to your version at a sign🥂ificantly rarer four percent encou𒊎nter rate.
These Pokémon are wonderful for collectors, even if they aren’t the strongest Bug-types you can get. That said, their ability to learn strong Electric attacks like Thunder and Thunderbolt might make them valuable t𝐆o your team, and with both being potentially availabile you thankfully have the opportunity to get whichever you like more.
5 Ralts
When you help Wally catch his first Pokémon outside of Petalburg, it can seem infuriating that he encounters such a rare species out the gate. Thankfully, Wally’s Ralꦇts isn’t t🍬he only one on Route 102, as it can show up in four percent of encounters.
This can take a while and is extremely early in the game, but having 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:a strong Psychic-type so early in the game can make it a great reason to do some extra hunting. If you want some better odds, you’ll also have it show up five percent of horde encounters in the newer Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, making it slightly more attainable.
4 Surskit
Ralts isn’t t꧂he only rare Pokémon on Route 102, with one species being even less common while still plenty available. This is the Bug and Water-type Surskit, a pond skimmer that evolves into the much more beautiful and aerial Masquerain. If you want to catch this skinny insect, it has a frustratingly low encounter rate of one percent.
That said, its evolved form is also available in greater numbers while surfing on various routes, with a more common꧟ four per🍃cent rate. If you want a Surskit specifically, try catching a Masquerain and breeding it, and you’ll surely lose far less time.
3 Wailord
Wailord isn’t entirely rare, as its earlier form Wailmer is extremely bountiful throughout Hoenn’s o♏ceans. There are tons at various levels that 🅠you’re bound to encounter without much effort, so if you want one it’s easy to find one and grind it to evolution. Since you need it in addition to a Relicanth to access the Regis, it’s important to get one.
If you want to save time on battling, though, you can actually encounter this evolved form in the original Pokémon Ruby & Sapphire on Route 129. Unfortunately, it spawns at an incredibly rare one percent, making it one of the hardest Pokémon to find in the game. If you want a Wailord that’s rarer than your friends, though, it’s certainly h🍸unting down just for the bragging rights.
2 Chimecho
If you’d like a Psychic-type that has more aesthetic value and rarity than Ralts, look no further than the wind chime Pokémon Chimecho. It does have alright offensive stats and a very powerful Levitate ability to prevent it, but this rare bell is most valuable for its soft colors and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:difficulty to find.
There’s only one place to find this Pokémon in Hoenn, and it’s at the summit of Mt. Pyre. While it’s made slightly more common at five percent in the 3DS versions of the game, Pokémon Ruby & Sapphire and Pokémon Emerald all have it only show up two percent o🌸f the time, meaning you'll have a lot of Shuppets and Dusknoirs to flee from on🔜 your way.
1 Feebas
Feebas might be one of the most famously rare Pokémon in the entire series, and for some very good reasons. In the more recent Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, you can find it with any fishing rod with a𝓡 five percent encounter rate in the river on Route 119.
In the original Pokémon Ruby & Sapphire, though, Feebas only ever spawned on six tiles in that river that, each being unique to your copy of the game. This meant you had to spend ages hunting for the one tile where you had a slim chance of f▨inding it, making it a massive ordeal. That said, its evolved form Milotic is one of the bulkiest and most powerful Water-types in the series, so this long task is undoubtedly worth the oꦰrdeal.
