Shiny Pokemon have been a series mainstay since Pokemon Gold and Silver. Trainers loved grinding away to catch visually variant versions of their favorite battle creatures. While the actual encounter rates have been speculated in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pokemon GO, it's safe to say that it's 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:o🌟ne of the best Pokemon games to shiny hunt in, though you may need to save up some raid passes to nab th🌠e newest shꦆiny.
Legendary Pokemon are difficult to come across, but Raids make finding their shiny variants easier since you can target a specific Pokemon and raid to your heart's content or until you get lucky. Niantic even advertises whenever certain Legendaries return to Raids, so keep an eye out if you're hunting one in particular.
Updated November 11, 2022 by Andrew Scariati: With this year's Go Fest behind us and the Holiday Season underway, Pokemon Go continues to bring new Legendary Pokemon into the fray, including the most recent Legendary shiny variant in Xerneas. With the release of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, more new Legendary Pokemon appear in the form of Koraidon and Miraidon, the game's box Legendaries. While there's no telling exactly when these new creatures might appear in Pokemon Go, the cross-promotion coin event teasing the new Pokemon, Gimmighoul, is a good sign that the new shiny Legendaries are not too far away. Until then, you'll have to collect the amazing shinies currently available, including some of these fantastic options.
12 Suicune
168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Most Legendary Pokemon's shiny forms fall into one of three categories: one-color palette swaps, slightly lighter or darker shade of the original form, or decently different🉐. Suicune falls into the second category, but unlike the rest of the Dog Trio, it works out to its benefit.
Suicune, the Aurora Pokemon, is a Water-type associated with lakes, cleansing, and purification. Naturally, the blue color scheme is fitting for all of these themes. While the biggest change is the color of its wavy mane (from purple to iridescent blue), it reinforces Suicune's representation. Its main body is a lighter shade of blue, but light enough to contrast with the bold blue.
11 Registeel
Registeel's minty shiny re-color is an excellent upgrade from its formerly drab all-gray appearance. As one of the Legendary titans, Registeel's original design left it feeling a bit standard and uninteresting, almost like you'd expect to see them roaming in herds.
However, Registeel's shiny variation breathes new life into its somewhat underwhelming design. While with its original coloring, you may have walked by Registeel, mistaking it for a part of the furniture, its shiny form offers an exceptionally distinctive palette and accentuates the red glow of its markings due to the contrasting colors.
10 Cobalion
Much like Registeel, Cobalion is a Legendary Pokemon that not only gets a beautiful revision, but this shiny variation may even surpass the original design. While the colors remain the same, their hues change to darker, more distinct tones that allow the design to pop, further accentuating Cobalion's white fur tuft and sleek coat.
This Sword of Justice Pokemon received a shiny that definitely does right by a Pokemon said to have an Iron Will. Its cold expression becomes more intimidating with darker colors, giving Cobalion a more regal, dangerous look than its original shading conveyed. Its Justified ability is fitting, as whenever a Dark-type attack hits Cobalion, its own attack becomes stronger, mir♔roring the effect of its breathtaking shiny forꦓm.
9 Cresselia
Cresselia's original color palette featured soft pastels of pale yellow, periwinkle, and magenta. Her aurora tail also fades into lighter shades of magenta. The Lunar Pokemon prevents nightmares and blesses people and Pokemon with pleasant dreams; therefore, it has a gentle and soothing appearance.
While Cresselia's shiny form features a darker palette, it ties back to a typical color scheme associated with the moon: dark purples and blues, symbolizing the night. The neon blue contrasts pleasantly with the solid violet shade on her body. Shades of bright blue replace the previous magenta color scheme, rounding out the palette and remaining pleasing to the eye.
8 Giratina
As 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:one of the best Ghost๊-type Pokemon in the game, Giratina has an intimidating reputation to live up to, and its shiny form certainly delivers. The Renegade Pokemon's shiny form features its base color palette inverted and switched around. This is genius considering Giratina represents the shadows, and its home is the Distortion World or Reverse World in Japanese.
Giratina's black shadows remain intact, providing a dark contrast to the rest of the bright colors on its body. Its golden armor pieces and rings are now silver, and its gray body is a very bright yellow. Its red stripes and claw-like features on its wings are neon-blue. The look is visually appealing without the colors competing for attention.
7 Rayquaza
Of course, one of the most popular Legendaries, has 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:one of the best 💜black-themed shiny forms in the entire Pokedex. Who wouldn't love a black dragon that rules the stratosphere and defends the Earth from meteorites? Not to mention, Rayquaza keeps Groudon and Kyogre in check.
The Air Lock Pokemon's color change is rather simple, too: just change the emerald green to black while the red and golden accents still stand out on its slender body. Rayquaza still manages to look domineering, foreboding, and intimidating, similar to Charizard's shiny form. Good job, Game Freak.
6 Kyogre
Go on — tell us you can say "no" to this beautiful Moby Dick? We dare you. Unlike its companion from Pokemon Ruby, Kyogre's shiny form really complements its original. Keeping the white underbelly and changing the red lines just a little, it replaces the blue with a vivid shade of purple that is hard to miss.
The Sea Basin Pokemon is one of the heaviest Water-type Pokemon in the entire Pokedex, sitting closely behind Wailord. While not the fanciest or most elegant of the weather trio, it still manages to cut a suave and fun look when not blending in with the deep bl🐭ue sea of Hoenn.
5 Dialga
Some of the best shiny forms in Pokemon are the ones that don't change drastically, but somehow have a very different vibe to their original. Dialga's shiny represents one of those designs that build upon the success of the original.
Switching out the typical blue, white, and silver that is so often associated with tech, Dialga's shiny form is mostly teal, with green, glowing highlights that really pop. It reminds us of precious stones catching the light of the sun underwater, and it's certainly a diamond in the rough among some shoddier color combinations.
4 Darkrai
Darkrai's original black design with flowing black shoulder accents and white headpiece offered an off-putting visage for anyone unlucky enough to come face to face with this Dark-type. However, its shiny form proves that ꩵDarkrai had not yet reached its most terrifying iteration.
There is something deeply unsettling about the dark purple coat and magenta collar of Darkrai's shiny. Darkrai also has the stats 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:to be an excellent attacker in Pokemon Go, so knowing that you're facing someone who put in the time to catch a shiny Darkrai is almost as frightening as the shiny Darkrai itself.
3 Celebi
There is beauty in the simplicity of Celebi's shiny color palette. While its non-shiny boasts a primarily green palette and doesn't offer a lot of range, the pink works well with Celebi's new dark green eyes. Like Cresselia, Celebi is meant to communicate a sense of comfort, stability, and care; trainers need not fear when they approach this mystical Pokemon.
In Celebi's shiny form, Game Freak swapped out the greens for the wonderful pink color scheme. Celebi's main body is a standard light pink, while its lower body and the back of its head are neon pink. The green is not completely gone: Celebi's eyes and antenna tips are now green and not blue. Considering Celebi is supposed to be cute and disarming, like Mew, and pink and green is a classic pairing, it's very fitting.
