But Raid Boss battles are by necessity a team effort - the Raid Boss is an enormous, mighty foe that no trainer can take down alone. Your only hope is to gather as many local trainers as pos꧑sible and get ready for the fight of your lives.

The only problem is, Pokémon GO doesn’t have a handy means of alerting players of impending raid bosses and also doesn’t provide any way for veteranꦬ trainers to find one another to take on these challenges.

Enter ! This web-based app allows trainers to send upᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚ a digital beacon that alerts other players n𒐪earby that a Raid Boss is spawning, and to get their butts to your location on the double.

Here🧸’s how it works. First, you’ll need to set up your account with Silph Road. You’ll need a Reddit account to associate with Silph Road, so you’ll have ꩵto create one before you can set up your account. Next, set up your local area and how far from your home you want to receive alerts. Finally, throw up a beacon as soon as you see a raid. That’s it!

Silph Radio is great for two things: coordinating trainers already in a raid group to hustle over to where they need to be, and letting trainers not already i𒁏n a raid group find other trainers to take on raids.

So far this a web-based app that’s st𝄹ill in beta, so it only sends out email or SMS notifications when a beacon pops up in your area. But there is a native (ie. on your phone) app that’s in development that will send push notifications when a raid alert comes up.
