It’s finally time for a collection challenge based on my favourite region, thank Arceus. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pokemon Go is having yet another big collection challenge event this week, and this time it features Pokemon that were introduced in the second generation, which was set in the Johto region.
Johto changed the Pokemon world for the better, introducing Dark and Steel types, eggs, baby Pokemon, and much more that also heavily influenced the direction of Pokemon Go itself many years later. In this guide, we’re going to break down which Pokemon you’ll need to catch when the Johto Collection Challenge event kicks off on January 26, and the easiest way to get them. Just read on below f🍌or everything you need to know about this event.
Which Pokemon To Catch During The Johto Collection Challenge In Pokemon Go
The good news is that Niantic has officially decided to drop the Shadow Pokemon from the list of Pokemon you’ll ne♒ed to catch for these events, which is great, as Shadow Pokemon are, to be perfectly honest, a little useless, and a little frustrating. I’ll take a normal Pokemon ov🦩er its shady equivalent any day. Here is the full list of Pokemon you should catch to complete this event.
- Chikorita
- Cyndaquil
- Totodile
- Sudowoodo
- Sunkern
- Murkrow
- Smeargle
- Miltank
- Larvitar
That’s the full list of Pokemon. Some of these will be challenging♔ to catch - looking at you, Larvitar - but others should come to your fairly simply. I’m hoping for Sudowoodo and Murkrow to come pretty easily. Here are the rewards you get for catching all of these Pokemon:
- PokeBalls x15
- Ultra Balls x10
- Incense x1
How To Easily Catch The Pokemon You Need During The Johto Collection Challenge In Pokemon Go
Getting all of the Pokemon you need to coꦰmඣplete this challenge won’t be a walk in the park, but we’ll make it as simple as possible.
Many of the Pokemon included in the above list will be wandering around in the wild, ready to be caught at any time, making these the easiest to put into a Pokeball. The monsters wandering the wilds will be Chikorita, Cyndaquil, Totodile, Sunkern, Murkrow, and Miltank. In addition to that, Miltank just might be shiny, so mak🙈e sure to c♔heck the wild Pokemon you see, even if you have already caught one during the event.
Next, Larvitar will be hatching from 5km eggs, making it a great way to find this fairly rarᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ🧜ᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚe Pokemon.
Sudowoodo won’t be wandering around in the wild or available from eggs, but you will be able to catch this pseudo-wood Pokemon by completing event-exclusive Field Research tasks.
That basically covers how to catch each of the event Pokemon with relative ease, except one. Smeargle is not as typical as others, and a little bit more awkward to catch. We’ve made a guide on how to catch Smeargle right here, but the short answer is to take a lot of pictures of your caught Pokemon using AR Mode. If you do this enough and get lucky, Smeargle will appear nearby as a wild Pokemon. ൩That’s a big if, though, so keep trying!
