Niantic added GO Battle League to Pokémon GO 🔯earlier this year, and trainers have already taken part in more 🌊than one billion battles.

When 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pokémon GO first launched four years ago, there was no battle element to the game at all. Odd for a game that is rooted in battling Pokémon against one another. As with most features and generations in Pokémon GO, Niantic's plan has been to roll ❀things out gradually. Four years on, interest in the game is at an all-time high, so the plan is working.

Battling now exists in the Pokémon GO universe in a handful of ways. Battling in gyms, raids, against friends, and perhaps the best way of all, via the GO Battle League. Trainers are ranked, one being the highest and ten the lowest, and compete againsꦦt trainers of a similar rank. Win battles and 🌱a trainer's rank will increase.

The feature has proven to be so popular that less than five months after it first launched, it was revealed via Pokémon GO's Instagram account that it has already hosted more than one billion battles. What makes the sevenꦚ-figure barrier being broken even more impressive is for large chunks of its existence, the Battle League has been pretty buggy. It even had to be completely disabled for a period at one point.

T🐻he number was revealed to celebrate the end of Battle League's second season, alongside some changes being ushered in for season three. The biggest change will be the introduction of a new tournament within the Battle League, the Flying Cup. Trainers will only be allowed to use flying Pokémon when competing in the cup. Niantic also revealed that the walking requirement to compete in the league will remain disabled.

As for when season three begins, unlike the gap between the first two seasons, this will be a very short one. GO Battle League's third season starts with the Great League on Monday, July 27, 2020. A short wait on any weekend, but ev🔴en shorter when trainers have more to♕ do this weekend than on any other weekend of the year thanks to GO Fest.
