Niantic has officially confirmed that its promised feature that will allow trainers to invite frie꧅nds to raids has been delayed due to technical issues.
As soon as large parts of the world went into lockdown over three months ago, Niantic got to work on making sure trainers could still play 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pokémon GO. The world being urged to stay inside as it tried to fight a global pandemic could have spelled disaster for the AR game. Thankfully, that has not been the case, and Niantic's new features and measures have made Pokémon GO more playable than ever.
One of the major changes Niantic made to its game was the addi𒀰tion of Rওemote Raid Passes. Prior to the inclusion of the new item, trainers had to be within the immediate vicinity of a gym in which a raid was taking place in order to take part in said raid. Should a trainer use a Remote Raid Pass, they are now able to compete in any raid they can see on the map, thus opening up the catchment area by a long way.
Niantic has since revealed that it plans to make raids even more accessible. It wants to achieve that by allowing trainers to invite friend𓆉s to raid with them. That will presumably allow those invited to compete in raids well beyond the bounds of what they can see on their screen. Niantic originally planned to roll out the feature before the end of June, but it is now July, and they're still not here.
Niantic hasn't let time run out and ignored what it previously reported. It sent out an announcement via the Pokémon GO app's news section revealing that technical issues have delayed the rolloꦏut of the new feature. No news yet on when those issues will be resolved and the feature will be added, but trainers will be hoping it arrives before GO Fest 2020.
Raids have been a point of controversy for Niantic ever since they were added to Pokémon GO. Five, four, and in many cases three-star raids cannot be beaten alone. For trainers who live in quiet😼er parts of the world or don't have friends who live nearby, it left some Pokémon who appear exclusively in higher-tier rai💜ds unattainable. The addition of a feature that allows them to invite friends could change that.
