Each of these Spotlight Hours will feature a specific Pokemon, drastically increasing its spawn rate. In addit♑ion to this, each Spotlight Hour will offer a bonus, active throughout the e꧃ntire hour.

Below you can find the date of each Spotlight Hour for the month of April, the Pokemon that will be featured, and the 🍌bonus that will be active.

April 8 Spotlight Hour: Meditite

The first Spotlight Hour for April will take place on Tuesday, April 8, featuring Meditite.

In addition to Meditite's increased spawn rate during this event, there will also be a double transfer Candy bonus active. Make sure to catch and transfer several Meditite during this Spotlight Hour, providing you with tons of Meditite Candy, a resource needed to power-up and evolve Meditite or Medicham.

This week's Spotlight Hour bonus will increase the Stardust that you earn, doubling the Stardust you obtain when catching different Pokemon. S🌳tardust is needed to power-up different Pokemon, so make sure to catch several Morelull during this event.

Use the Star Piece item during this Spotlight Hour when it is possible, increasing all Stardust that you earn by 50 percent.

Mega Evolve either a Grass or Fairy-type Pokemon for this Spotlight Hour, providing you with even more Morelull Candy during this ev✃ent.

April 29 Spotlight Hour: Abra

The final Spotlight Hour in April will take place on Tuesday, April 29, featuring Abra, a Pokemon introduc꧒ed in the franchise's first generation.

Spotlight Hour Spawn Rates And Shiny Rates

The main bonus of this Spotlight Hour will be the featured Pokemon's massively increased spawn rate during this event. The spawn rate of this Pokemon can be increased further by using both PokeStop Lures and Incense.
