168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pokémon Gold & Silver were the follow-ups to a worldwide phenomenon and somehow managed to carve out their storied legacy. Many people consider them to be the best mainline entries due to how expansive the post-game is, as well as the number of features they introduced to the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pokémon game franchise. The story in the games may not be world-class, but what are the best and worst characters you come across? Let's now look at the 5 best and 5 worst non-playable characters in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pokémon Gold & Silver.

10 🌠 Worst: Falkner

Falkner himself isn't all that bad in terms of pure personality, but as a Gym Leader in Johto, he needs to be judged by everything. Unfortunately, he happens to be the first gym in the region and uses two Pokémon from the Kanto region. Instead of opting for a Hoothoot and/or Noctowl to show off what the Johto region has to offer, he uses a Pidgey and a Pidgeotto from Kanto. It's a trend that happens throughout 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pokémon Gold & Silver despite the 2nd generation of games introduction a ton oꦰf awes🔯ome new creatures.

9 Best: Bill ᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚ

Bill doesn't do a whole lot in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pokémon Gold & Silver, but that doesn't mean he still isn't one of the best non-playaꦇble characters in the franchise. First, he's responsible for the storage system trainers us♏e to manage all of the fantastical creatures they capture. Second, he gives the trainer an Eevee in the second generation of games which is quite generous considering how rare the evolutionary marvel of a creature Eevee is. Without Bill's genius and generosity, being able to "catch em' all" would be nearly impossible.

8 🔥 Worst: Bruno

Here's the thing, Bruno is a solid member of the Johto region🍌's Elite Four, but he committed the same sin that Chuck of the Cianwood City gym did. Bruno has a team of five Fighting-type Pokémon and manages to squeeze Hitmontop into a roster of al𝄹l Kanto native Pokémon.

He doesn't have Heracross though whicജh is quite disappointing. Not only because it's a native Pokémon to the Johto region, but also because it would give his team a better and more diverse set of typing alongꩵside the required Fighting-type.

7 𒐪 Best: Koga

168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pokémon Gold & Silver did a really good job of integrating numerous characters players met in the first generation of games and having their stories feel like a continuation. Koga is one of the best examples of this on multiple levels. First, he is now a member of the J𒆙ohto region's Elite Four, which is a change from him being a gym leader in the Kanto region. Now that he's earned a promotion, players learn that hiဣs daughter is now the gym leader in Fuchsia City and followed her father in becoming a master of the Poison-type.

6 🌸 🦩 Worst: Webster

You may not remember Webster, but you should considering he has you do a fetch quest for him. He's the guy who asks you to deliver a letter attach﷽ed to a Spearow named Kenya to his friend. Trainers can manipulate the game and give the letter to a different Pokémon while still keeping the Spearow for themselves.

Webster doesn't do anything terrible or outlandish, but th🐷e fact that he makes you got through all this effort and all you get is an HPཧ Up item, and either TM50 (Nightmare) or TM44 (Rest) is slightly frustrating.

5 💯 Best: Profess🅘or Elm

It was unclear going into the second generation of games if Professor Oak would be returning or not. Trainers quickly learned that each region is home to a professor with the last name relating to a species of tree. Professor Elm was the intelligent man who calls the Johto reꦕgion home and gave the players a sense of purpose, as well as a starting Pokémon. He's much more youthful than Professor Oak, but also seems to be much more clumsy. Whereas Oak is an experienced researcher, Elm seems to still be trying to get the hang of things.

4 Wo༒rst: Ch🍸uck

Falkner using Pidgey's evolutionary line instead of Hoothoot's is frustrating, but it doesn't hold a candle to the Cianwood City gym leader's selection. The Fighting-type gym leader named Chuck that resides in Cianwood City calls himself a master of the typing, yet he doesn't use Johto's two best Fighting-type Pokémon, that being Heracross and Hitmontop. Instead, he went with Primeape and Poliwhirl, two solid Pokémon in🌟 their own right, but they're Kanto native species. Heracross can never catch a break in the franchise.

3 Best: Red

Red's a bit of an easy answer when considering the coolest characters you come across during your playthrough of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pokémon Gold & Silver. Players can run into him and battle if they happen to make their way to the top of Mt. Silver after conquering the Kanto region in the post-game. He comes prepared with a tough lineup of Pokémon that is a spitting image of his famous team from the anime. This interaction is just another bullet point in the argument that Pokémon Gold & Silver are arguably the most re♛warding games in༒ the franchise.

2 🧸𓃲 Worst: Archer

Archer is a name that might not seem familiar if you only played the original version of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pokémon Gold & Silver, but he received a more noticeable identity in the remakes. He was one of the Team Rocket Executives and was easily recognizable thaౠnks to his teal-colored hair.

With Team Rocket being defeated and disbanded after Pokémon Red & Blue, Archer refuses to give in to the reality of the situation and organizes the vile crew back🍨 into work as some sort of twisted Frankenstein's monster of a villain.

1 ❀ Best: La🅰nce

Lance is a returning character who made his debut in Pokémon Red & Blue as the dragon trainer Elite Four member. He returned in the follow-up sequels, this time helping the player defeat Team Rocket while at the same time being the Johto region's current Pokémon Champion. Over the years they've done a better job at making look like a cool dragon tamer with a cape, but that wasn't always the case. In the original 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pokémon Gold & Silver, he came across m🉐uch more like a vampire, or sim▨ply as a dude cosplaying as Dracula.
