Competing with some of the most iconic 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pokémon in the series, Generation 2 ha🥂d to step up the quirky and the epic scale of character design just to compete. From the families of the greatest rival to some classic stars from the first generation, the depths of the narﷺrative only deepen as the cast grows.

10 Silver

Pokemon Gold & Silver rival Silver, the supposed son of Giovanni

Despite his relatively unassuming appearance, Silver is proven to be one of the most powerful trainers around. Something that shouldn't come as a big shock when his fath🔥er's identity is revealed. The relentless and somewhat abandoned heir to Team Rocket's leader, Giovanni, he certainly follows in his footsteps at the beginning of the game.

Stealing his starter Pokémon from Professor Elm and ambushing you at the edges of Cherrygrove City, players would think that he was destined to join Team Rocket. Throughout the game, we find out that he despises the organization and ultimately becomes a better person and a🗹 str🃏onger trainer.

9 Mom

Who could forget dear old Mom? In every generation of the game we're introduced to a whole new figure, add🍷s some interesting mechanics to the mix. Setting up your Pokégear at the beginning of the game🍌, she sets you up as much was available in Generation 2.

She can also save a quarter of your money if you request it, meaning trainers won't be able to spend their entire savings at the Goldenrod Game Corner. The best thing is whe𝓰n trainers get home and she's bought goodies for the room and your travel 🔯bag, leaving the rest to be collected at the house.

8 Blaine

Blaine is one of the most prevalent characters in the entire series, with appeara🎶nces in 5 generations of the main game. The researcher turned gym leader is a serious brꦬainiac, if you couldn't tell from the point-dexter attire, and he acts as such. Forcing the trainer to pass a quiz before he'll battle them.

As intelligent as he is, mistaking the Einstein for a pushover would be a huge mistake. His Fire-type roster is more than enough to create a problematic battle in any generation. The added riddles and puzzle-solving creates an air of exclusivity aroun𓄧d the battles.

7 Clair

The final gym leader on the long and treacherous Johto road, Clair offers the fina🍬l challenge before visiting all the old favorites in Kanto. Battling her won't be an easy task by any means, a full roster of Dragon-types will push the trainer's team to the limits.

A cousin of Lance, Clair's family is a clan of Dragon trainers that are highly respected among the community. The battl♈e is unique because you ไdon't receive the badge after defeating her, trainers will have to traverse the Dragon's Den and pass a test before she'll accept defeat.

6 Lance

One of the only rivals that will give any kind of assistance in your journey, Lance doe🐼sn't need the false bravado to demonstrate his skill. In fact, he'll keep a close eye on the trainer when they face the storied red Gyrados that appears in the Lake of Rage.

He'll also take on Team Rocket with the trainer when they ruܫn into troubles in Mahogany Town at HQ. If they end up succeeding, he'll reward them with TM Whirlpool that will aid them in travel. All that will lead them to eventually facing him and his stacked squad of Dragons.

5 Pryce

A deceptively unassuming character, Pryce is the oldest gym leader trainers will face. An expert in 🐬Ice-types, he draws his wisdom from meditations under a waterfall. To get to the main fight players will have to muddle through a treacherous maze to get to the geriatric o✃pponent.

With an increasingly sa🍎d back story, Pryce's main Pokémo♔n Piloswine abandons him during a blizzard, after these events, he lost all emotional attachment to his Pokémon. Focusing solely on their battle abilities, he became a fierce trainer that is a handful for any trainer.

4 Morty

Ghost-type trainers are bound to give the majority of trainers fits, even more so when they run the gym. It's not hard to tell the gym apart as trainers will appear to float over the main walkway꧃s, finding their way in an invisible maze before finally running into the eerie competitor.

Being a super fan of the legendary Pokémon, he spends most of his days in Ecruteak City in close proximity to his gym. Though he does venture off at any mention of tꦉhe legendary dog's, even taking the beginning of the week off to visit the Bellchime Trail.

3 ไ Mr. Pokémon

Best friends with Profess𝓰or Oak, Mr. Pokémon follows the same path with his own casual research. As much as he is a hobbyist in comparison to Oak and Elm, Mr.🍷 Pokémon is the reason players receive their first egg in the game. He also hands out the important Exp. Share once you give him the Red Scale after the Lake of Rage.

One of the most positive characters in the game, he's always got some wisdom to impart on each visit. Especially when the egg has hatched and he mentions the Pokémon daycare center, revealing the breeding mechanic that was newly introduced. Overall, the quirky man has many hidden gems to offer, both in positive thinking and useful item💧s.

2 Red

If you pla﷽yed the original series then Red should come of no surprise. The trainer you dragged from Pallet Town all the way to Cinnabar𝓡 Island, his legend has grown exponentially since the series last left him. These days you'll have to get through every other challenge in the game before meeting him at the top of Mt.Silver.

Having the highest level team by far in the series, Red presents one of the toughest challenges in the game. Talk about the past coming back to bite you, all that work in the first generation only lead to a tougher challenge in Gold/Silver.

1 Kurt

Kurt isn't a character that stands out in a huge way, though the service he provides is irreplaceable. He's also the first hint trainers get on their Johto journey that Team Rocket is back in action. Residing in Azaelea Town, if the player helps Kurt in retrieving h⛎is granddaughters Slowpoke then they get access to his Pokéball craftsmanship throughout the game.

From Fast bal🦋ls to the Friend ball, Kurt covers the board as far as circumstances go. Some even affecting how the relationship with the captured Pokémon starts. The Fast ball is especially ha𒁏ndy when it comes to those sneaky types such as Entei or Abra.
